What is going on?

Hmm... missed a few days of posts here I am sorry I did not reply sooner...

I will disregard all the comments with any implication to Ingo's,being online and not in DV etc as I think Yorga explained it satisfactorily.

I have posted several posts prior to the prolongued break on raiding that I have seen this coming .

As Bux pointed out pre TBC we had similair problems.We had a hell of a time keeping a group together and the group that did stay together could not get progression back on track due to a lack of suficiently prepared,focused,geared players because we had to resort to fillers to get a group running.

We are in a similiar situation now if you count the number people that posted about prolongued breaks and leaving WoW for undefined time and take into account what role they played in our group ,You must see that replacing them would be a hell of a task and we will have trouble getting a 25 man going due to lack of numbers we saw that in the last 2 weeks prior to Asbach hibernation.

The amount of effort and energy that takes to reform a raiding guild,and organise runs in a vacation period is just to much and frankly the chance at succes is minimal at best.(just look at the number of concerned people actualy posting in here)

The idea to have at least one raid a week is what I supported before ,but due to a lack of sign ups even that looked difficult,I was glad to see that last sundays Gruul did run regardless the lack of signs.Like I said before DV is on a break from scheduled raiding as the comitment ,time,numbers are at a seasonal low ,trying to uphold our former schedule or progression would feel and look like flogging a dead horse.

So the once a week sign up will continue for sundays and hopefully we can rally more of DV's members to actualy sign up and run.

Trusting that coming the end of August we will reform and start afresh.

i totaly see ur point koren , but on the other hand i'm afraid that allot of players might have left to a guild that does continue their raids. but we will c how it goes ..

Not a huge amount I can say as most of it has been covered.

Personally I've enjoyed a bit of a break from raiding 4 times a week, but i've missed it too. Would happily raid twice a week over the summer and will keep an eye on the forums and sign up whenever I can.

Chances are that if there's nothing that's been planned on the forums and i have play time i'll be on my ingo as I enjoy questing and I'm at a bit of a loss what to do with Vet solo. So if you need me for anything either pm me or put a sign-up on the forum (I didn't know about that karazhan run until you were trying to fill the gaps on the night, by then I'd committed to do something else).

Also sharing a study with bux I know how much time, energy and stress goes into organising raids on a regular basis, to try and make it so that everyone has the best possible raid night. Personally I can't, and if I'm honest don't want to get involved with the organisation (doing the invites is my limit ). So with that in mind I don't have strong feelings like "we MUST be raiding" as I know I can't expect someone else to organise something when I'm not prepared to. BUT if there is a sign up then i'll endeavor to put my name on it

My life is at the moment very different than before..

I have exams going on now, and to be honest i hate playing wow on daily basis. The only thing i enjoy is the raiding, but i had problems being online for the last ones.

Also the sun and the very nice and warm weather in Denmark is keeping me away from the computer in the day, and in the evenings i'd rather spend it with the people i went to school with. This is my last chance of seeing them.. (Yes i'm very young comparred to you..)

Because i can't find any fun to do in wow when we are not raiding i'm not online.. And i will properly not be in the day until Wrath of the Lich King comes out.

I will try to be online for the raids, but if i sign up, and the raid schedual isn't full i won't come online.. I'm sorry, but i hate whipefests, and i have no chance on getting the gear i need when i can't use my karma.

The only thing that is keeping me in the guild at the moment is the social part of it. I like to raid, and the kara runs are awesome, but right now i need to focus on other stuff. I hope you understand.
