I personally wouldn't buy a Radeon.
Are you using relatively recent Nvidia Detonator drivers for your GF2?
Short answers
From what I've heard/read, they're currently better than NVidia's cards.
I used to use detonator drivers, but they didn't help any, went back to using the card manufacturers drivers.
Long answers
Well the ATI cards support DX9, where as the NVidia ones don't (That's Half-Life's excuse for being late, they had to rewrite large parts of the code so the game would run better with nvidia cards.) and I know that Geforce2 chips had a problem (the one that's in my card), GeForce4 worked much better, but I still don't trust them.
Once bitten forever shy........ or something like that rolleyes:
The full name of my card is a Gainward GeForce2 MX/MX 400 Goldensample VIVO (I think). The detonator drivers didn't work for me so I ended up going back and using those supplied by Gainward. Battlefield1942 stopped crashing and video-in worked again (I've had the card over two years and still haven't got around to ripping my old videos to CD

).
