Usn Surface Mission 10b, Impossible?

Ok first I'd like to say how underrated this game is - it should have had alot more attention but unfortunately people like the quick bang-bang games as to realistic simulations.

Anyway, enough ranting. I cant get past this mission I've tried maybe 10 times and everytime my destroyers get blown out of the water by 1 hit from the 15in cannons! Jesus is that even realistic?! Anyway, has anyone else gotten past this mission? If so please post.

if you do a search of these forums, you will see a "walkthrough" or a "spoiler" for mission 10a and/or 10b which I created..

Personally I think that 10b is easier than 10a. I still can not beat 10a even with all the help and walkthroughs there are. It never fails that the few times I seem to be getting a good go at it, I find a 15 inch hits me.

I wasn't able to drop the Battleship in 10B but I put enough fish into it that the crew were running out of duct tape. I completed 10B first go taking the "you have delayed the fleet" exit nit I tell ya, 10A, I think I'm outgunned and out numbered.
