NJ 007 , You DID make it clear which campaign mission . !

Deck gun is not much use in this , and some other ones , ( no matter which way it is mounted , Right way , Wrong way , OR Navy way . )

So dont worry , and forget it .

On surface craft there are 3 buttons ,, the other is for setting depth charges , just try clicking a few places and you will see, ( altho' voice command will set charges , instead - but you can look to check )

Main thing in that mission is to pivot , ( preferably )or just turn , and head towards Oiler rightaway . To do this , you can hit the emergency surface button , then just say periscope depth before breaking surface , but it doesnt matter too much if you do briefly , and then get to periscope depth.

You probably won't see which way to pivot/turn , until near surface Ot takes a minute until the red spots appear .

Identify the Oiler . Easiest on the map . ( Use the larger - rather than smaller one ) If you haven't yet discovered about those , do more clicking ! Or use a training mission to really familiarise with the toys .

So. You know where the target is , and are heading towards it .

Use your scope as well as map. You will be able to see which way the Oiler tries to evade . ( It will .) Then you can fire a couple of torps . to the side it is heading .

There are a few ways to do this campaign ( Yes in addition to the three ways mentioned above , is my way !) You will find your own style of it , but a few pointers helps .

The CVs won't be too toublesome for a while , in this mission - but watch out for planes ! ( They didn't tell you - but you probably found out by now , lol )

Go flank towards the target ,,BUT , if a CV really does approach and looks tricky , make sure you slow to one third - because you can pivot nose to nose and thus turn faster , but not at higher speed . ( About 3 knots maximum in a sub, and 5 Kt in a ship ) . If it doesnt look too threatening , just keep on towards target , and watcing out how alters course to evade . In FACT , WATCH everything !

When the Oiler is hit ,, just survive until the victory message - THEN blast ALL the enemy !
