Lfn 14th Naval Division Is In Business

This is to confirm that, as of 0600h New Zealand Standard Time, 18th August 2004, I have created a clan for multiplayer. Currently the members are:

I hope to add more people as time goes on.

To begin with, it will be a small force of LFN surface ships, assigned to convoy killing. No more than eleven or twelve ships in total. Their task will be to drive merchantmen, etc. into a tight ball, then "go fishing" . At some point, probably when cruisers are added, we will extend our duties to include fleet actions and long range patrols. Although primarily a surface group, we will allow submariners to join on a temporary basis for big jobs.

Any questions should be fowarded to the Enigma community forums for the attention of Sub. Lt. D. Abramczyk. Preference naturally will be given to RNE/RAN/RCN/RNZN personnel, but must be affiliated with The League of Free Nations.

If you need a capable Corvette for hunting subs, I would be more then willing to join your crew.

Welcome aboard, MajorMajor, you will be in charge of group 2. Jammy-E will be in charge of group 1, and I shall be in overall command aboard the destroyer HMS Impulsive. However, please note that you will have quite a large degree of Autonomy.

OUCH! my eyes hurt when I read medieval terminology being used in a WWII era naval taskforce setup....

How about getting into the same time period and dispose of sword and club fighting vs. magic and dragons...

Now its ok if you want to use swords in your symbols or flags.. but try to get into the overall mood of the role playing with terms like crew, fleet, taskforce, captains and ensigns, commodores, and admirals.. etc etc..

eh... I think clan is one of the Early American expressions , the ummmm 2nd millenium American language . or some code .

one word....battlegroup. At least that's what they called us. It was usually named after the carrier we were escorting and defending.

Example: We were usually the America Battlegroup, named after the carrier USS America.
