"All I wish is a tall ship and a star to sail her by."

That was what your grandfathers heard John Paul Jones, the father of our great Navy, say. Well that was before he went off to command the Russian navy, but that's besides the point.

In multiplayer, team tactics count for everything. Once, in the FPS game Battlefield 1942, I gathered together 6 tanks and drove for the enemy objective. We were outnumbered 3 to 1, but we won. Because we stuck together, and the other side was uncoordinated.

In Tides Multiplayer, teamwork will become even more important. Battleships MUST have destroyers nearby to survive from enemy subs and sink enemy ships, and vice versa. It is CRUCIAL we bond together. Start forming your own clans, or, better yet, rally behind me!

Generous pay, free room and board, and adventure on the seas to defend our nation. Yes, we face new threats from around the world. The USA has 27 capital ships (at least it did in real life at about this time), but we face 48 from England, roughly 20 from Germany, and 17 from France should they join the war on the enemy side. Come together, and we will live. Scatter apart, and we will gather again- in Davey Jones' Locker.

Yes I agree, once in the game Battlefield 1942. We cordanated a ground and air assualt with 6 vs 15. 3 tanks moved in from the rear while we left one (1) in the open at the front and sent two (2) plans in to bomb from the front. The enemy team moved to defend there front and left the rear wide open. The planes came around for another pass blew a hole in the front and the one tank moved in and by this time the three (3) tanks that were coming from the rear were engaging and blasting everything to hell. The planes kept pounding and we won.

In Battlefield 1942 - Desert Combat it was 20 vs 30. The enemy had a extreamly strong posistion against any air and ground attack. So we took 3 helios, 2 appachs and 1 fast attack chopper. Packed our team into them and took the canouns to sneek around to there back. The attack chopper did a quick pass overtop to catch there attation. He was getting blasted to hell so the appachs moved in and took out the AA guns. The 3 helios moved in and landed and the men got out. The gunners stayed in and the helios took off and circled around the base using the chain guns to take out any support they brought in from the base's around there main. While the ground troops and fast attack chopper took out the base's remaining defences and the chopper quickly shuttled new troops from our base to the battle site. Once the base was ours the helios turned to an angle and went along the roads taking out all enemys while the attack choppers flew ahead to give there locaitions. We swepth through the map faster then hell. Its a tactic I still used today.
