Problem After Update

I ran the UK update and now I can?t see smoke or hits on ships =( What is wrong? ... I hope i don?t have to re-install the game again. >;(

what videocard do you have?

You need atleast a GForce2 with 32MB Ram

ATi's Rage Engine is not enough.

Geforce 4, TI4200 64mb..

verify that the details are turned on.

disable hardware antialiasing on your videocard.

Make sure you have driver version 45.23 from http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp

Where do I find "disable hardware antialiasing on your videocard" ? I run Windows XP =/

right click on your desktop->properties->settings->advanced->GForce tab

in the external Gforce menu you will find it

Solved! I did everything you said, but it didn?t work out sleepy: .. So i uninstalled the game, installed it again, ran the patch and tada Now my hits and smoking ships are back! I saved my savefiles so I could proceed with my missions. I guess the problem came up yesterday when the game crashed.. and my graphiccard also, so it maybe damaged a texture file or something.. Dunno, but now i works Just love this game!
