War on GMX

Hear Hear! enigma!:

Tag have been delt some rough blows and they are still fighting on to give us a good product. Single player is excellent and yes we all want MP. But we have to wait. Why complain? It won't speed them up. At least they are still trying despite being screwed over by GMX. They could have just given up. Then there would be no community to complain to. Plus the Enigma community is the most friendly, non-judgemental community I have EVER seen online. That in itself is a revolution.

The product released by TAG was NOT inferior and it was either release single player only or crash and burn. I know what I would do if it was my company.

Anyway this is a computer game, not a car. To make such a comparrison is rediculous. I would spend thousands on a car and when I drive it my life relies on the sound engineering. Enigma is just fun and if it crashes I don't die. And anyway Enigma is pretty bugless. A high quality SINGLE PLAYER product that is being expanded to include what was the ultimate goal. MP.

I agree with you Carl that a large number of companies screw us around with buying games. But TAG is one of the few I have actually seen be brutally honest and still trying to imrove the product. The enigma forum is probably not the best place to complain.

What about this Damned GMX company ?

Is it true , it is based in London ?

How can we ennsure it gets some damn bad P R ?

Anyone know ?

They are still selling the GMX version on Amazon UK.

Why cant we buy a more up to date Dreamcatcher version or such in UK/ EU ?

I would buy another CD , if it had the updates,, I dont want to patch , and besides I have dial up.

GMX deserves some BAD publicity .

Who knows how we can give them a hell of a lot , and maybe they will think again .

I/We can not encourage you to take any actions towards GMXMedia.

They are a @@?#@$!#?@ company no doubt about that.

Amazon and other sells Enigma: Rising Tide published by GMX, but I think that TAG has informed most online/store retailers that GMX & TAG is no longer working together and that each and all pennies is to be deposited into TAG's bank account.

Even that GMX screwed TAG and other small developers they still publish theirs and other new games (God knows how they still manges to get new titles).

The EU/UK E:RT retail box will have GMX's logo on it till the lawsuit is over and TAG can have it changed.

Also the are spamming new and old members of their Forum with their press releases and such. Nowhere did/do they ever mention that when you register with their Forum then you accepted to recieve their E-mails, and they even continue to send them out to those users that they deleted from their Forums (a lot of us here were deleted when TAG sued GMX), but we still gets spammed weekly.

P.S. Yes it is true that they are located in London, UK

I have called my ISP about GMX spam . a few times.

I might have another go , because the law about spam has changed .and GMX not being an untraceable company , should make it possoble to pursue.

Yes,, I know one has to be careful about ' encouragement' or whatever , as per GMX , and ' action' , but surely we can make it known that the case is causing more delay. I think many are getting weary of the delay ,now .

I just hope that case is pressed all the way .

Don't settle out of court !
