Uss Lionfish Sails Home After Hard Mission

WASHINGTON POST APR 30TH 1937-

Today, commander Mark C. Ingraham, USN, sailed into Guantanamo Bay. After several fights with Kaiserlichmarine patrol boats, and a lot of effort and time, Mark was able to complete Mission #2. At first stumped by the manueverability of the KLM patrol boats, and how the heck they got half way across the world into the enemy's home waters (can a Tesseraction staff member explain that please), he found that if you fire a torpedo near, but not at, the enemy corvettes they politely turn toward your torpedo and sink. After sinking two boats (each took two torpedoes to sink for some reason), he wandered around aimlessly for a few minutes and was notified his mission was completed.

Now for mission #3. What are you supposed to do on that mission anyway? I never saw any oilers, only merchant vessels.

i didnt see any oilers the first couple of times so i didnt think i had to do anything.

I soon realised i was wrong when i surfaced and found a load of em. If i remember ightly i had all the escort ships chasing me on that one it was funny to see ship after ship snakelining behind me trying to DC me

Those KLM boats are out of Honduras and Belize - two German owned territories.

How the heck did the KLM come to own territories all the way over there?
