Pity. I miss the visibillity rendition in the original version.

And those screen pics above look too foggy even for early morning.

Can't you tone it down/clear it up a bit?

Ok i have Just downloaded the new patch from 3d gamer and the visbility is still at 2km.

Can anyone suggest what i might be doing wrong, im fully uninstalling the game and then reinstalling it.

Me too. Since installing the new patch visibility is absolutely rubbish. Totally spoiled a great game. I love the new graphics and BB`s but I`m gonna have to unistall the patch becos the viewing distance is just too foggy.

as an after thought, what is the patches filename?, im sure i downloaded the 55mb (approx) patch but the name was 2.0.1.b

does that b mean beta?

Yeah thanks warspite, but that doesnt help me much as I used them links to download the patch. I still am not happy with the visibility and jusy wondered if i had downloaded the correct patch as East mentioned at BETA and my patch 2.0.1.b ends with a b, so have i accidentally downloaded the beta at 55mbs or so.

I have the Aus edition and Aus patch. As you may know, we never had a Beta version, but you'll find posts from Rogue and myself mentioning our 2k visibility.

It is the way the patch is...not beta

I downloaded the patch last night, left the ol machine runnin whilst I slept, ( an woke up with a billion pop ups) and installed this morning.

What can I say? It's great!! I like all of the reworking thats been done, and commanding a battleship is such a rush!! nothing like sinking a dhip from a couplethousand meters!! 15 in rain drops!!

ok one more thing, I noticed that the manual in adobe reader has also been updated. if anyone is having probs with the new dc and torp computers, take a look at the file in your enigma directory. :laugh:
