does this soundpack mod have the voice response sounds from SH II? and if so that is great, at least until the official soundpack is released.

PS if the lfn is japan and inglish navy what accend they use, Japan or inglish?

My fix was simple.

Re-install ERT, Ozzie patch 1 and 2.

Voicepack install.

When I played engima, I selected GERMANY as my group (IGN) and not JAPAN (IJN).

It would appear, someone like myself whom completed twenty years in the Royal Australian Navy can`t read a simple thing such as IGN as opposed to IJN.

IMPERIAL GERMAN NAVY AS OPPOSED TO IMPERIAL JAPANESE NAVY.

THAT WAS MY SOLUTION, YOU HAVE SUCCESSFULLY EXPOSED ME. lol

MANDINGO in order for them to work ultimately you need to have..

1) The "my_voicepack" folder and the "commandsresponse.txt" file both in the Enigma directory. Both of these items are contained within the "my_voicepack.zip" file. I probably should have renamed this zip file to avoid confusion.

2) You need to turn on the option in the game preferences under sound for voice responses so you see the check box is green and the volume slider is all the way up.

3) You need to issue commands using voice commands. Issuing commands with the mouse or keyboard will not work.

4) You need to be sailing for the Germans.

Other then that I can't see why it shouldn't work for you. All I can say that I'm unsure about is the way I zipped them with the WinXP method. I never used that before as I had always used winzip before. I was wondering about that when baxterbj said he had to do what he did to get them to work. Maybe I'll upload the files seperately unzipped if this seems to be a problem.

I've made some other updates to the commandresponse.txt file to correct some typo's and I remixed some more wav file too. I'll get them posted by this weekend. I may also work on the American faction but I can tell you now they might only say yes sir to submarine specific commands. Also it is easy to use these voice responses for all the factions if you don't mind the German accent.

If anyone's interested in a modified commandresponse.txt to do this, let me know and I can make one up for that.

I may also redo the file stucture all together to add subfolders for the specific factions. That is if subfolders will work ok.

However I was wondering how far to go with this. Might not be too long before an official voicepack is available. But I wanted to have something asap so I put this together with what I had to work with. I tried recording my own voice at first but it sucks hearing yourself respond to yourself.
