OK . I just did this one again to verify .
Similar to Dhugs .
Simultaneously , pivoting at flank speed to point either bow or stern at LFN sub , ; and ; firing all guns at it too .
This time it was closest to stern , ; Fired 1 torp to force it to break off attack on Wren. Continued pivotting at flank , until bows were almost pointed at LFN, and set flank speed directly towards it. Fired a bow torp.
( At this stage , I think I have once succeeded in sinking the LFN sub with a torp .)
This time , I followed it closely , ( making use of external view a lot )
When the USN corvette came too close , in pursuit , I fired 1 stern torp to slow it .
Then continuing closely with the LFN ( which was below 50 m still ) When it rose , just above 50 m , I torpedoed it . Quickly pivotted , as the LFN came in ( slowed now because of my earlier first torp , and was finished with the second .
Managed to manouver alongside Wren . Finally .
Thus . : Not always is the Wren sunk . Not necessarily .
[ This time I allowed it to continue and did not wantonly destroy it in masses of pleasingly orange flames , with salvos of torpedoes until expended ..lol ]
