A strange problem - hope someone can help. I bought the Australian version of the game, installed it and it plays fine. I d/l'd the Aussie patch from Auran, but when I try to run it, it fails. At first it said the target file was corrupt. I uninstalled ERT, then reinstalled and repeated. This time with the patch I got messages about not finding compressed sound files and some other stuff - I got about half a dozen error messages.
Afterwards, Enigma desktop shortcut can't find the .exe file. When I checked in the game directory - no .exe file!
Anyone advise what might be going on? I have downloaded the patch again, but I am reluctant to run it without checking in here, because I have now reinstalled 3 times! Helllp please!
By the way - sank my first sub in one of the training missions - a satisfying feeling playing depth charge cat and mouse and hearing a big boom as I landed one right on the submerged tin can!
