In-game Freezes

#1
Just got the game and it's great! However, I've played 3 training missions so far. Desktop is set at 1024X768X16 and I set the game up for that resolution. BTW, I'm running an Athlon XP 2100, w/512 MB DDR Ram, GeForce4 Ti4600 and SB Audigy. I run no background programs in system tray other than systray, explorer and "Prismsta" (D-Link wireless adapter utility for my wireless network).
The first mission played through okay, (I was sunk). The next  time I was about 10 minutes into the mission and it totally froze my machine. I had to use the reset button to start up the computer. The third time I set the in-game resolution to 800X600 but the same thing happened again, so many minutes into the mission. At that point I saved a copy of my dxdiag file and emailed it to support@warfleet.com. Haven't heard anything yet, but I sure hope they can figure out what the prob is 'cause this game is sweet and I'm dying to play it. If anyonehas any suggestions, I'd appreciate it. Can't say I'm having this problem with other recent games I've gotten. My system's pretty stable. I have the latest video card drivers, not sure if my Audigy drivers are the most recent. Anyone know off hand what the latest version is for the SB Audigy?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Welcome to Creative Software AutoUpdate

Locating, Downloading and Installing updates for your Creative Products is now simpler and faster with Creative Software AutoUpdate system.
By analyzing the existing installations of Creative products and software on your PC, Creative Software AutoUpdate will determine whether your Creative products have the latest software or driver versions. Only those files that require updating will be presented to you for download. This means you no longer have to waste time and bandwidth searching for or applying unnecessary updates. It also means we can deliver smaller update packs supporting a specific language rather than a large file that contains multiple language support, thereby saving you a huge amount of download time.

We highly recommend that you enable the Creative Software AutoUpdate feature.
