Behold,
I am rather new here, and was hoping I could get some help here since the Enigma section has been sealed off. I have been wanting to play the game again, but before I buy it I was wondering if it could even run on Windows 8. Does anyone know if it can, and if so how to make it run if It is more complicated then just compatibility mode?

I am pretty sure it can run under Win8. You might have to run it in compatibility mode, and maybe even as administrator. That is my guess.
The company has been out of business for sometime now, but we have always kept the Enigma files as a reference for old Enigma players. We have closed that section because we don't have any game experts on that game anymore to answer any tech type questions.
Sorry.. no one supports that game any longer that I know of.

Alright so I want to get my Enigma rising tide to the gold edition to use Battleships, I saw the post on the Enigma forum, but when I follow the link to the downloads I go to this thing called Deep red that says its TOW File link thing, but try as I might I cannot find a link for any download let alone Enigma. Any idea where I can find the link or where I can go to get the patch?

I do believe we have the files you are looking for. The game is one of the best ever.. but everything is old now, and much harder to find all the peices.
I will see if the Enigma Files Section can be turned back on. It will take some time.. so just check back a couple of times per week. We don't have staff for this type of thing so I'm not real sure where the info is.. have to find it and see how to get you access.
