Just got the game last week and have been dipping my toes.
I was wondering if anyone else has had unasked for torpedo launches?
I am currently playing RNE sub mission 4 but this has happened on all missions, as the message window updates with aye bow torpedo launched or some such I suspect it is something to do with speech driven commands and I am using speech enabled, but I have not actually requested them, for my commands to be heard I do have to speak quite clearly so it's not as if I have the mic input up extra sensitive
On a sub note I know this is a game but how come in a game there is no time acc' yet in SH + SH2 and DC time acc is there and they are supposed to be sims, wierd eh?

it can very well be a background noise that your mike is picking up, I have seen it a couple times before...
try adjust your mike (control panel->speech) to use more accuracy...

Definitely some thing to do with the mic, must be el cheapo, as came with one of my other pcs.
I'll have to play with it further as turning down I then obviously have to speak a fair bit louder, Odd looks from my kids + wife etc
It's just a little odd that it's only the one command
