New Romulus - Tau Dewa Sector Patrol

The New Romulus - Tau Dewa Sector Patrol is a mission that is available to Level 50 starship captains.

Completing the mission gives you 60 Romulan marks.

But they leave a couple things out.

In each system, there is a small Romulan station, approach the station, and you will get a radiation scan event, just like scanning for crafting materials in nebula space. You should average about 30 or more radiation reports from each one. 300 radiation reports gets you 30 Romulan marks from the Radiation Expert on the surface of New Romulus.

Each system will have 2 or more anomalies to scan also, giving crafting materials.

You can rerun the mission over and over in the same system, if you pick the following systems, you get space ship combat that will drop decent loot also:

20% “Beta Lankal System Patrol”: Recover 5 relics defended by Tholians.

Beta Thoridor System:

20% “Beta Thoridor System Patrol”: Defeat 5 waves of Rival Klingon ships.

Carraya System:

20% “Carraya System Patrol”: Defeat 5 waves of Tal Shiar ships.

Japori System:

20% “Japori System Patrol”: Defeat 5 waves of Nausicaan ships.

So Romulan Marks, Radiation Reports, Crafting Materials, and loot. Pretty darn good!

I noticed today, even though the towers are there, if you don't have the daily radiation scan mission up and active at the same time as you do the Daily System Patrol, the tower is not scannable and the radiation is not available to scan. However, I do recall that as long as both missions were up, you could scan the same tower in the same system. Two birds with one stone.

Revisiting the patrol mission with 5 players has the mission ramp up the number of hostiles and this also increases the loot drops!!  I was surprised how fast my inventory filled up running this as a group.  Need loot/money?  Not a bad group activity at all!
