Flame was peacefully mining in our humble hole when combat probes showed up on directional. She returned to POS and I checked the hole to Lowsec in my trusty Nemesis. I saw a guy go out and come back in but as I was cloaked at 100 KM there was not much to do. After waiting for a while I decided he must be from the other hole that connected to another WH -- J204230. I went in and found 2 guys waiting on the other side. I was able to cloak and avoid them. Over the course of the next 30 minutes guys were jumping in and out of the hole. One was a Phobos, and I suspected they might have a trap on our side of the hole. Flame bravely agreed to check it out. She warped in at 100 but was drawn into the Phobos warp bubble. They popped her ship, then offered to ransom her POD. She instead showed them one of her dainty fingers and woke up in her clone. This bought me the information I needed. I aligned to the hole at 30 KM and waited. When it lit up I decloaked and touched off scorch bomb #1. I never did figure out exactly what happened next but I was at 60% armor and they survived the scorch at the end of the encounter. This seemed to stir them up as I saw a Hawk, an Ishkur, a Helios, and other assorted ships. I was down to 1 scorch and hoped to catch a few of them together coming through -- especially the smaller ships. In the end they came back through and I watched them leave, return and leave again, then jumped through to find a bunch of cans they had placed around the hole to break my cloak. Next time.
