Hi All... just was out looking at IL-2 and ArmA 2 sites, found this one. Pretty impressive, you cover lots of ground! Myself and several of our members at Tactical Playground are pretty active in the IL2 and Arma series, but with a handful of members, we only run our own hosted games or jump in to dedicated ones. And lately, its just for movie-making purposes. :roll: Was hoping we could come by and battle with you sometime. Do you still run IL-2?

hey beagle, welcome.

yes IL2 is still active. numerous grps.(VBF-12, 117th, 1st ADVBG, Island Hoppers, etc) are up and running. all versions of Il2 are represented, HSFX, UP, etc. I would suggest hopping on the TS server as someone is around usually.

Great to see you poping by.

We at Tidesofwar no longer run our own game server but support other servers and squadrons with teamspeak3 channels. Currently we are assisting 200th Sentai in supporting their *PacificWar* server (found on Hyperlbby). We also support a number of squadrons flying Rise of Flight. I can only speak for the 'Air Department' but we support Army, Navy and Space & Fantsy game too.

Having suffered a major server failure early this year we are revamping in all areas, a time consuming process.

We are a non profit organisation of like minded players aiming to provide gaming for our members and the general public at minimal and generally no direct cost.

I may be able to muster a squadron to compete against your pilots at sometime. Please post here or create a new thread.

Sounds Good! Not necessarily looking to compete against you, we are more of a coop group but I am sure we could give it a go. Always up for new challenges! We will definitely be in touch, just waiting for a weekend without family or other committments...sigh.
