Attention Please! (Forum)

Seems all people can read our forum and topics, U dont need to login. I did a test log out and have read the topics!

This happend since we have a new forum. Only our members need acces to this forum, others not! Please change this....

Yep, this is the default. Its not generally been an issue - in fact, its quite handy to be able to read up on what's going on without logging in.

Of course, if the majority think it'd be better completely logged in members only I can do that.

Because for me its a forum for members and not for visitors like everywhere....

Its not really a matter of fixing it. Trust me, its not changed, this is the same as it has always been set up - readable by all, but need membership to post. Actually, for awhile we did allow guest posting but we got spammers so we had to prevent that.

I can change it, but I don't see a huge benefit in doing so. Indeed, there is a big downside (huge for me) in that you need to be logged in to view posts which messes with those of us that check the forums from multiple computers. It might (not tested) also break the RSS feed on http://wow.tidesofwar.net/fi/.

My preference is to keep it as it is, visible for all. It is a place for discussion by members (forum) whether you like what is posted or not. I must point out also that the post that I believe that has bought this topic up was one made by a FI guild member.

I'm with Bux and Theaceman on this. I like being able to view the forum on my mobile without the need of logging in. It's not like we're doing great secret things here or things that the rest of the world will be hugely interested in.

My vote is on keeping the current setup.

I DO however appreciate you raising the subject. It's always nice to know what others think and that people are paying attention to these kind of things.
