Intermitant Mic Problems

Normally everything is fine, but sometimes the AI acts like my voice commands are in Martian or something. For example, I'm commanding a Raiko-class DE on an extended patrol, on a heading of 215* and a nearby convoy is being shelled. I set course 138* to go to its' rescue, next thing I know, the bloody things' either trying to go 425*, stopped firing, or in one case, the engines cut out. I've traine my comp many, many times in my voice but it doesn't help. bash: bash: bash: bash:

Train it again, run all the train tests..

Rember to speak clear and firmly and not too fast and not too slow, and remember background noise interferes too.

I had the same problem until I purchased a quality "Multi-media headset" which wasn't that expensive at $30. After I trained the speech recognition one time (Win XP) I now have about a 90% success rate when playing the game. Remember that the quality of your microphone is the largest factor.

Just a few thoughts elsewhere...when dealing w/ sound issues:

* check your microphone first!!!!!

* ck your sound card settings and Via Voice settings
