Before the patch I believe the max range is 5.5KM / 6KM.
I think I remember the max range ia bout 12700 meters at 27 knots. So that should be about 12.7 km.
Well before the patch they run at 43kts approx. and its listed somewhere what the max range is for them, I just cant remember where

I fear I have little to add to this conversation, in that my best hits seem to be pretty mid-range, luck notwithstanding. In thinking about the post-scenario debriefing, however, I got to thinking: do you suppose multiplayer will offer similar data?
