IL2 server testing

Chaps

I have been working hard on my 24hr Server mission. I think I am ready to start testing. There is still lots to adjust like sorting all the air spawns to ground launches. I also want to put in some int reports and ATC calls when squadrons are about to launch. That should help stop people taxiing and then being spawned upon. Anyway, if you see this today then I intend to do testing for the next 24hrs.

I have the server up tonight on my machine. Log onto tidesofwar.net teamspeak and go to the "IL2 Server Testing" channel. The details are in the channel info for that channel. Please try it out and tell me about any snags. Things like aircraft running out of fuel. Crashing into trees on landing. Launching I to each other etc. Thanks.

I logged in around 1015 mission time, flew a ki61. TBMs,corsairs and P38s were active as well as the vals and zero escorts. by 1130 am only 3 corsairs were flying CAP. it looked like a tbm had crashed on a runway blocking the #4 plane from taking off. the server crashed/logged off by 11:55.

Great work so far. Not sure where the Ki61s are suppose taxi though. Just stay off to the right of the main runway i guess. Never saw the 2 eng japanses plane fly ( not the betty the other one ). Keep up the great work.

Kabayo and I flew some with RC3.4 mod

One thing we noticed was that a flight of P-40s and F-4Us spawned at opposite ends of an airfield and were taking off against each other...crashing in the middle. I forget the name of the airfiled...started with a S and was S(something) Point

Perhaps Segi Pt?
