So what is the status of the ToW squadrons?

well with the 117th, the mcvg and kabayos hvy bmber group whats the chances of getting all together? All these groups fall under ToW? does the 117th have a set night for missions? whats a good server to catch u on?

We are pretty small at the moment. Would be great to get a joint-ops thing going. No set night (yet) for the 117th...but am working on it. 117th will be on the Slybirds server.

ill keep an eye for you guys, I kind of like the full switch servers.

Is there limitations on particular aircraft that the squad members would be limited to (F6F only for example) or would there be a limit based on time frame (nothing newer then 1943 for example)?

The reason I ask is I have a large preference to the "uncommon types" like the IAR-80/81, MC205, etc. Since most servers don't have those on their respective planesets....I have pretty much quit flying for now.

you can set your squad up anyway u want it. its been pretty quiet in the forums, perhaps we can kickstart them. although i my many travels i have not seen an italian plane based squad yet. i have seen some servers with the italian planes available.

Anyhow Im keen to get involved in the IL2 side of ToW as I am a retired BSS AA plaer from a couple of years back IL2 managed to swallow me up whole and hasn't managed to spit me out as yet lol

I love this game from the first release I had back in 2005 on a cheapy cd...one play offline and i was hooked..then Multiplay..goodby spare time and life LOL

the realism is where its at for me I love full tilt servers and still have not managed to use the ToW server not sure what name it is under..assuming its on Hyperlobby?

would love to get in the air with some of you sometime soon.

At current i have been Winds of War sever on Hyperlobby that is hsfx 1.01 plus other mods and has AI as well as real players most stick to red side but i would really like to get back to ToW

I'm Gosling, the ToW Air Marshal...

You may not know but ToW has been through a bit of a castastrophy lately and we are still recoverning. As for IL2 the server is not up at the moment. We are currnetly running a Rise of Flight server. We will be running an IL2 server in the near future and it will be full switch as you mention. The reason for not running a server at the moment is the very dynamic nature of IL2 Mods. We are likely to be using UP2.0n but have yet to get everything up and running. Stats is a huge problem that has never really worked properly.

Anyway, our focus at teh moment is on recovery and IL2 will have to wait for one.

We do have a few pilots flying like Jester, Kabayo and Saipan.

Others of us mainly fly in Warbirds of Prey Servers.
