heres something that helped me. I was always getting lost, and still do on occaision. What helped was I made a clear plastic compass overlay with a pointer fastened in the middle, then I could either print the map or just hold it up on the screen the get my bearings. I used a thick piece of clear plastic from a container from the grocery store. works great!
