Naxx/OS

Hi all.

Posting here for any FI 80s who are intrested in starting a Naxx ten man group. After my 1st run I have been chewing it over the possibility of running a ten man Naxx(Normal) raid with OS on the third week.

The aim is to have some fun and get people who have not done or only done a few Naxx runs, running it on a more constant level to help with gearing/badges etc.

The runs would be twic a week on days that are most suitable for the majority of people with the possibility of a few PuGed players.

Would be splitting the Instace down to two wings per run, so in two runs we have or should have a complete. Then every thrid week we can take on OS for a change of Instance.

Will go into more detail when I know who has intrest in doing this. Please post below and then I can start working out the details.

Hi Bux.

Thank you for the offer of guild bank assistance . Yes reckon FI can do most 10 man runs on its own merits. Still going over the plans for raiding etc may ask for a Sticky if/when thngs get rolling as a guide reference page for people.

As we were discussing during the week I think getting FI into the 10 man content would be a very good thing. Could always add VoA onto the list as it's fast and will get people used to raid content.

If people are worried that their kit is not good enough to get into raid content we could do more ad-hoc guild heroics. We used to do a lot of instance runs back in the old days which were great fun and I think it would be good to get the feeling of togetherness back in the guild.

But back on topic. Yes I should of made it more clear that I intend to run all 10 man Instances. So thats three Instances to work on/from and its progression from Normal to Heroic.

Agree with the people feeling under geared or worried about it. Some classes I.E. Dk/Warriors/Paladins can through just buying/crafting blue/epic items make the so called gear cap to run entry Raid Instances.

But theres nothing stopping a one/two nights per week were guildies can group up and run Heroics for badge/loot drops. Most are a nice easy run and unlike PuGs groups we all know each other and also less ego/zurg runs.

So please read and think it over fellow FI memebers we have a chance to go stomp some bad guys and have fun.

P.S. If people are worried about how tactics on Bosses I have found a very well thought out and made Videos from Tankspots very own Ciderhelm. Hes one of the main forces behinde a Tank class website and has tried to make everything about Wotlk runs as straight forward and easy to follow as poss. Will be using his vids(consent already given) as a guide to work from.

Add Moozart and Weer to the list of interested guildies. I can't say I'll be joining consistently, but whenever you need a filler I can try to be there.

with regards to gear as long as you have mainly blues for you lvl then you will be geared enough to run naxx 10 man as experiance counts for a lot more than having epics.

If people reading this are near to 80 or 80 chasing gear pease also put your name down if intrested. I can use this to arrange a few nights of guild Hc runs for drops/rep/badges.

Well Jason as I mentioned to you the other night I really hope this gets going. Similarly to BBB, I will come along when I can for the next couple of weeks plus I too have cancelled my subscription (ends early May).

I have really enjoyed the old world runs in BRS and would like to thank you for your time and patience with me as I tried to keep up. At certain points it looked like we had our own personal forum (Just for Kicks and Ticks) and it was a shame we didn?t attract a few more to join in. The exception being AQ20 of course!

This initiative is very important for FI and I?m sure it will help bring the guild back on track. I know I am not the best example of a guild member insofar as I cannot commit the necessary time to raid or do 5 man runs, etc (those of you who are parents would understand I'm sure). I just don?t like letting people down. A lot of my time on line is spent /AFK! Although when I can join in for a raid or a dungeon - I do.

Buxton?s point on this not being an alt?s guild is important. FI needs to develop a sense of purpose (and fun) else people will drift. Arranging events like these is a start.

For me the best thing about this guild is players like Kintoll. Fun, helpful, respectul (regardless of kit / experience ? I still don?t understand gear checks for PUG?s ? pure snobbery tbh ) but most of all it appears to me that he enjoys Wow for what it is ? a game. That?s an example to follow imo.

Still it has been an enjoyable experience being in FI for the past 18+ months. I wish I had joined earlier tbh, but at the time I was determined to get to 70 ?guildless? for some absolutely pointless reason. Hopefully I?ll be back in a few months (fingers crossed). Sorry to hog your Naxx 10 post mate.

I would also like to come on the 10-man raids and yes, I think we have enough good players for it within FI. I've done some 10-mans and my gear is good enough.

Personally I enjoy 5- and 10-man raids more than the big ones. Would be fun if we could organise this and also heroics on a regular basis.

I just have one problem, this week and next week (so untill the 19th of April) I have very little time due to the renovation of our greenhouse. After that I can join on a weekly basis for, let's say, 2 evenings per week.

However, this would mean that I would not be able to raid with BBB and Neil, which would be a real shame! Any chance you two would reconsider and help us make this happen? Pretty please!

I hope we can do this with FI only, but if we are short on people than I might be able to organise a 10-man alliance with my previous guild the Dragon Muffins. There's not much difference between our and their guild, except that they haven't divided the guild into a raid guild and a non-raid/alt guild.
