Current Protection Status

It's been a few years since I've checked in. Hopefully someone still monitors these forums.

I bought the original US Retail version of Enigma: Rising Tide years ago and loved playing but uninstalled it due to the Starforce protection used.

So, I was wondering/hoping now that the game is so old, if there was ever a patch for the US Retail version to remove Starforce protection?

I'd love to play again but hate Starforce.

There is no such thing, If you don't want STF installed on your PC, you should look for a used copy of E:RT EU/UK Retail from GMX-Media as it is not protected by Starforce. :-)

Anyway, I'll look for a copy of E:RT EU/UK Retail from GMX-Media. Do you know what copy protection, if any, GMX used on that version?
