Yeah its a great game to play and has so many levels to it. Solo flying against the AI, team play, fighter action or bombing, ground attackis, etc. I recommend to all to check out the Full mission builder as it is very fun to make your missions and adding ground items ( almost 1000 items to choose from). cheers

Quick update of this post: There is a unified installer ver 1.1 that upgrades to 4.09 modded with 6dof.

There also is a switcher in this installer that allows you to switch the game from all the different versions

My IL2 install came from direct2drive the AAA 1.1 installer has worked awesome for me definitely less headaches. Good info guys.
