Window mode in WaW

Just a heads up... using window mode will allow you to run commands etc on radmin-ftp without getting kicked out of the server with the dreaded Alt-Tab command..

making this your shortcut command

fullscreen:

"C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty - World at War\CoDWaWmp.exe" r_fullscreen 1

Window Mode:

"C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty - World at War\CoDWaWmp.exe" r_fullscreen 0

dont try playing in windows mode though... your fps is cut in 1/2!! shame.. I average 70-90fps in fullscreen 30's in window mode..

also..it usually takes two loads of the game for the full or window mode to get in effect..dunno why..

I haven't been able to do too much lately, but this is definately a good tip for when you need to do more than 'just play'

USING Window's XP

Full Screen (default game view_

After you make your short cut .. properties> Short Cut TAB> On the TARGET line add : r_fullscreen 1, it will then look similar t0 this:

"C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty - World at War\CoDWaWmp.exe" r_fullscreen 1

Windowed Screen

After you make your short cut .. properties> Short Cut TAB> On the TARGET line add : r_fullscreen 0, it will then look similar t0 this:

"C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty - World at War\CoDWaWmp.exe" r_fullscreen 0

It is as Fuby says, he uses Vista and I could not get it to work as he put it in, but what i used above is ok..
