Ok guys......

Some new intelligence was received from some of our "coast watchers" that there is a brand new IJA Squadron by the name of the "47th Sentai" that are now flying actively in the Okinawa 1945 server. This new squad is currently a Flight Size unit of (4) pilots and they are flying in support of the 200th Sentai (Sakagawa & Company)

Typical aircraft flown by the 47th Sentai: Ki-841a

Aircraft markings: Blue lightening bolts on the Rudder assembly with Red and White insignia laid over the topside of each wing for easy Identification.

Observations: This flight is more aggressive than the 200th Sentai and tends to fly looser formations than what we see of the 200th overall.

CO: 47th_Koyama

Time Zone: USA

One tactic to handle the High perch pilot is to either go to that height or simply extend away and return to their general location at a much higher altitude or to vector in a high friendly to target the high perch as we engage the two lower aircraft. This is why I wish we had atleast a (3) ship fighter formation to address the 47th Sentai when we find them. In any event, we are doing pretty well as a Group when we do encounter their fighters in general.

The main idea is to drag away any fighters from our bombers so our main effort doesn't get engaged needlessly.

What-they don't post the great kill shots we get on them?
Exactly........

You see no pics of us bagging "them" repeatedly when they outnumber us 2 or 3 to 1. But to answer your question Hitcher, yeah this image is from that particular sortie South East of grid "Q-10" where Koyama ran into my plane where I lost my wing.
