AVENGING PEARL AAR

I took command of the MCVG contingent on Okie today, lobo, hitcher flew corsairs and thunder and I flew sleds. I got 5 aircraft kills on the ground. (4 on Ie shima) and 1 rufe at RP uncle, Thunder got 1 aircraft on ground at IE shima. and 1 AAA on uncle, Lobo got 1 AAA kill on Uncle, hitcher Got 2 ground kills,, Hitcher was fighter element leader. Did wonderfully. All avengers landed and took minimal damage, So id say it was successful. Comms was a problem with Whitey as I let him take OVERALL CnC for this opn, He never told Me inital RP so we hit IE shima 2 minutes early and engaged. we also took down jap seaplane base.

Land Navigation On my END was spotty at best thank god for hitcher and lobo, Excellent job in navigation and providing top cover

OUTSTANDING JOB Guys !!! I'm going to fly a Post Flight Area Recon on this map this evening and see whats left on this map sheet. I take it that the server still hasn't been reset yet ??? If so, thats good for us. Once again, excellent work everyone !!

Yeah XO it was a good mission, not many targets, moderate aaa, but we got the seaplane base at Uncle pretty good and we all got out, Ranger and I made it to Able Airstrip and landed perfectly, great comms and A/C observation as well as good formation work.

Nice job. I have some intell to pass on what I found as a result of the post flight area recon I flew but I will post that in the CIC and it will then come back down through our internal chain.
