..... But back on the subject whats wrong with this forum ? Well it had too many forums withing forums. Also if you click on the wrong button, you will end up in the main Tides of War forums and which is very huge. Then you have to find your way back to usa air attack forums. Plus when you first sign in, you are signed in to the main tides of war forums and then have to find your way to usa air attack forums. Also once you are sign in, it doesnt stay sign in unless you do this, and that, and this, and then it finally keeps you log on....
Mr Nitro,

It has been explained to you over and over ... Enter site here: http://www.airattack.us Top Nav Line for the USAAC ... button that says "Forums". You can't get lost if you click da button :) So easy a cave man could do it. At any time, you are lost.. hit da button: F o r u m s

However, as an extended service .. just for you .. I have fixed the forums so you can't get lost so long as you are logged in. Once logged in there is NOTHING you can see but the USAAC .. bingo .. you can't get lost anymore :) We could do this for ALL UUSAAC members, but a BoD decision way back when .. was not to do that as some people might like to check out the neighborhood. If the BoD so determined .. we could do that for all :) All they need do is ASK.

As for teaching how to use the browser and how to make the setting so you don't have to login every time .. well ..I and others have posted that to you enough that I don't think I can go over that again.. but FAQ does have directions for you :) If you recall.. you have asked "how to" before and Topper gave you an answer and you were most thankful .. here is your link and FAQ just for Ref/Reminder http://forum.tidesofwar.net/index.php?showtopic=5620

As far as one community for AA it would not be a UK, GE and US on one server as Tulls say's but simply one community known as Air Attack Global.
Ah, you could?ve explained it to me before because I didn?t got it. I think the idea of a global AA-site/server is not new but has been discarded ages ago, for various reasons:

1.) Language differences

2.) national AA-sites make for recruiting national users

3.) TAA and UKAAC would never give up its current club-sites and would never throw its history into the bin (and certainly not in favour for some, who always will be displeased and like to pull our legs)

Only 3 valid reasons, there are more...
@Nitro, you are totally off base when you speak of Tbar and Joker not having a vote in the BOD on this issue, they have done more then you could ever do for USAAC so don't go there.
This has been a discussion not a movement or takeover, It is the USAAC's decision to what direction they would like to pursue and how to do it. I thought you at least got that set in your head.

@Tow, I agree to what Xena refers to and it wasn't meant to be any sort of attack on TOW or any individual, these are just opinions not set in stone by no means, just opinions from a few.
This is comparable to the following:

Imagine you own two houses and you give one house away for living for free to a friend because you can?t live in 2 houses at the same time and after all it is your friend, you give the 2nd house to and therefore you don?t want his money. You still own the house, your friend is living there for free together with his family, cats, dogs whatever.....

- After one week your friend comes and asks you for a new painting on the house and you do it.

- After two weeks he asks for a new fence.....you do it

- After 1 month he comes and asks you to breakaway the house and giving the resources to him, so he can rebuild the house elsewhere.

erm....I?d say: if you don?t like the house I gave you for free, feel free to move away and build up your own house, if you fancy. Additionally I only own the house but there is a hypothecary credit on it, so I can?t give you the resources anyway (even if I want to, which I don?t) because its not mine. :)

This really is beyond absurd...

We all are dependent to someone/ something. Some more, some less. But there will be always a way to work for independence, you best start right away.

Indepence is nothing you?ll get as a gift/ for free. Everybody has to work for independence. If it would be that easy, we all were independent from everything/ everyone for a long time already.

P.S. and what I find most interesting is the fact, that above described ?naughty? individuals in most cases are the 1st ones who rant about ungrateful emigrants, who are living in their country, from their welfare, taking away their jobs and showing their own flags. How hypocritical is that please ?

Those who feel adressed by the written above: have a look in the mirror please.

I think that last part Tulla may be too much of a blanket statement.

As I am one of the people who believe that others should fly an American flag next to their country of origin if national pride is to be shown within the US I do not believe I fit into the category of "the first to rant about ungrateful immigrants" etc.

You yourself have spoken of losing jobs to china and the deterioration of the german way of life due to some of these same social issues.

perhaps i misunderstood the point of the last statement? Was it meant to a particular person?

I ask as I know you are also one of the "big Thinkers" in the community Image

It is my personal opinion resulting from my observations. Not aimed at anyone.

You are also not one of those individuals, who is/acts ungrateful towards others. You?re capable to ?reflect? yourself and your opinions and are capable to correct them, if needed. This is a big advantage....

The shoe is way too big for you m8, not only because you?re one of those who just donated money.

Don?t feel adressed please.

I don't really se what all the argument is here. USAAC is already and independent site. It has it own authority to control itself. The only thing is, is do we the USAAC want to go out pay for our web site hosting, or accept the FREE hosting that ToWnet provides us.

ToWNet does not control the workings of the USAAC in any way shape or form. They simply provide us a home or present our web site. How damned simple can it be.

As Tbar has stated earlier he was the tool that got the ball rolling.

Maybe what we should do is take a look at the dissenters and see what it is that they have to gain by moving the site. What is the ulterior motive behind all of this. Most likely it will be just another place to rasie their ugly heads again and again until they gain control. Eventually some people will start to believe them and the snow ball runs out of control. It work for Hitler!

I for one will not vote in favor of moving the site. The benefits I of being on us being on ToW are far better than not being here.

Has anyone even looked that the Tides of War Site? The very first that comes into view is USAAC banner. And for a site that is in the top 3 of gaming site I would say that it gets quite a bit of attention. Top Game Servers Not only that its also the largest banner on the ToW site front page.

Come to your senses people. It's not ToWNet or ToWClub or Tbar that's the problem here. Its the ones that like to see controversy. I for one is getting sick and tired of it all.

HEY STOP SIGNING YOUR NAME TWICE JOKER YOU DOUBLE DIPPER !!

Yes perhaps tireing indeed Joker. But yet to be expected.

The "unknown" is always mysterious. I for one am in the category of "unknown" in my knowledge of how ToW works and Tbars involvement etc etc. I just recently donated to Tow as the have some hard drive issues on 1 of 2 servers. In doing so I have paid TBAR.COMpany . Even in its most simple meaning that to me means I have paid TBAR and he will somehow get the money to Tow. Now TBAR has explained it in another forum to me and also I have read his other explanations of the relationships. To be honest, I still am unclear of the whole picture. Further research revealed TBAR.COM,s website where there is advertisements for TBARS Candles ( which i think I will try ), web hosting and some other things.

Tbar,

Now TBAR unfortunately this post might give ammunition to a few( aggregants?) to push back at you so I apologize as that is not the intention. Your posts tend to have so much information that I lose track and your words sometimes dont adress the topic specifically but rather seem to skirt around issues that you feel you should not be specific on. or seemingly so to me anyway....so.....

Just to lay it out in simple form for simpletons like me to understand I have a few questions to be answered in mano a mano format.

Are you involved in Tow Net in any shape or form?

Are the admins and/or owners of Tow net specifically you, your family or friends from before the Tow net venture?

Is Tbar.Company your project?

How does the money from the donate button get to Tow net to repair their hard drive?

Is Tow net a 2 server operation only or is it a full blown webhosting company with many servers?

Where are the webservers located and who is responsible for their hardware, software maintanance and upgrades?

These questions of course are for the record. I ask them as simply as possible for their simplest answer and implied query.

If for instance TBar is the owner of Tow net I would ask you to say that Tbar owns Tow net but is not active in any party of its decisions etc etc.

I think these answers will clear some smoky air and help in the discussion of "moving to another home"

Im sorry if some of these have been answered other places but I find it hard to follow some of your posts.

@Inf: justified questions. It indeed is somewhat hard to follow and understand.

There is a reason for that. Politicians do that all the time. They would make long winded speeches to avoid addressing the real issues.
