What is wrong with our community?

I don?t expect really to get the answers. I only ask questions you and the BOD hopefully will ask yourselves before you bite the hand that you feeds. (ToW)
P.S. sorry for multi-posts....
It's, Bite the hand that feeds you, lol, but I understand.

And I don't think that would be the case and if your talking about the technical end of it that would not be an issue in my opinion.

To give fuel for thought tulla indeed your doing but it's not like it's not doable and it would be whatever the BOD votes on and I go with the BOD's decision.

I speak for nobody but myself in these post's and will continue my duties with the USAAC despite what comes from the site issue but I'm surely not going to say it can't be done when it surely could.

This thread has degraded from "What can we improve on" .. to basically spiting in the face of anyone that has done something nice. Spiting on people who have really done something for the AA community, not just talked about it or tried to run it down. Spiting on an organization full of really good people with kindness in their heart ... the TowNet folks to Tbar specifically. Degrade and run him down because he can't be that good .. or nice .. and neither can anything he's associated with be either. The people that complain the most .. try to tear everything apart .. and never really contribute anything but grief.

AA is mean. It can only see the dark side .. and assumes the worst in anyone's motives.

I noticed its not fair and balanced as well .. should there not be a thread called "What is great about the USAAC". No, you could not see the good ...

You see.. its easy to destroy .. very difficult to build.

TowNet is like the USAAC BoD

ToW Club is the controlling factor and pays/finances everything within TowNet.

Tides of War - The name of a site.

TowNet 'host' may clubs and organization that have a need .. but may not be able to afford the services. What does TowNet get in return? Friends and associates. The organization have 'good ' people who end up helping out TowNet somewhere along the line. TowNet has a history of "lending a helping hand". TowNet does not dictate anything to anyone we host. AA Community other than a few .. can't see that... friends and good relationships.

There is more than adequate documentation within these PUBLIC forums that clearly outline the goals of the USAAC when started .. as well as Tbar's personal goals. Everything I tell you is FACT and verifiable. I am a person of my word .. and hold things like honor and trust as a very high value of personal net worth. I never lie, I may make a mistake or be in error .. but to outright lie is not my essence. Everything that I say below is truth .. undeniable .. verifiable.

1) There was a need. No one ever did anything. Tbar built a site. TowNet agreed to host said sight , no cost in order to GIVE the USAAC a starting chance WITHOUT addressing any 'costs'. Those in the CLP system saw the site, saw the squads involved and sanctioned the USAAC as a viable, legitimate USA Community.

2) Every Goal of the USAAC and Tbar's personal goals are stated within these forums .. and certainly anyone within the BoD has access to those documents. FACT

3) TowNet is a non-profit organization. FACT

4) TowNet does not charge the USAAC.. for anything. FACT

5) TowNet ASKED the USAAC if the banner ads could be placed on their site to help offset costs of TowNet. BoD agreed .. no problem they said. If the BoD decided to remove the ads .. they would simply be removed. TowNet was never asked to do so. FACT

6) USAAC knew from the onset .. it was clearly stated on many occasions that the USAAC was independent of any ownership and could move their site at any time. it is in the records. The BoD makes those decisions .. those that choose not to be a member of the USAAC should understand they "voided" their own input stream into the decisions the USAAC makes. The USAAC BoD say no need to 'move the site". FACT

Knowledgeable folks can attest to the fact we .. or TowNet.. nor Tbar make any money on Hosting the USAAC.

Knowledgeable folks can attest to the fact that "independent" the USAAC is, and has always been. Who ever told the USAAC that they could not do as they pleased? Anything the USAAC has asked for .. has been granted. FACT

Tbar has been called:

power hungry

control freak

money monger

And why? Because he was Santa Clause and we all know no one gives anything without "ulterior motives". No one simply places a gift at your feet .. without ulterior motives.

Tbar used the AA community for many years .. flew at GE and KK and DBS, etc. All those years I was simply a pilot and really no one knew of me .. or about me. One day I simply wanted to give something back for all the fun years I enjoyed Air Attack. But how to give back was a question I had. Then I saw a need .. the USAAC and I knew that I could give back thru a site, an organization and place for it. I KNOW how to build. That simple. I continued trying to 'give back' with creating the BSS. Remember originally the BSS was named ToW and flew a ToW tag .. but because of cave man like thinking .. they had to change their name over all the criticizing etc. Mean .. very mean.

I ask this: Would a power hungry person give up all the positions, titles, etc to other members of the USAAC? I think not. Yes clearly that was outlined from the onset. Why Tbar did a lot is because NO ONE ELSE would or could. Now they are believers in the USAAC and clearly see it can work .. and have stepped up where one could turn a job over. Even the BSS that *I* built is now run by Joker and his Xo's. Where is this a power freak? Control Freak?

I ask this: Would a control freak give access to highly sensitive and entrusted areas of "Townet" and the USAAC to others? Others that are part of the USAAC but not "Townet". I think not.

The FACT is somepeople just didn't get their way and want to do anything they can to 'tear it down'. Some people remind us how easy it is .. but do nothing but run their mouths.

There is a portion or full install of an AA Backup system on TowNet .. controlled by TopScrotch. Full server access, full administrative powers. I'm sure TowNet is making money off of that as well and had ulterior motives for that as well on the dark side of things .. it just could not be they wanted to help out.

-----------------

This matter is no longer in my hands, other people read these forums and those folks no longer wish to host the USAAC because of the attitude, ingratitude, personal attacks (on me), and accusations of "making money" on the USAAC. They no longer wish to extend any helping hand to the USAAC. They feel their reputation in the gaming community has been tainted and spit upon and no longer care to offer any extended help to the AA Communities. I was out voted on the matter no matter how much I tried to explain and beg to let things run their course.

The domain of airattack.us will be gifted to the "organization' of the USAAC at such time as the "organization" of the USAAC is capable is receiving such gift.

-----------------

When that gift transaction takes place .. then ask: are you independent? You see.. some one..or something must own things.

It is possible that members of the TowNet Organization may make further statements. I, however can no longer do so, as a TowNet representative. I can now only speak for myself .. as an 'independent'.

As an 'independent' pilot and member of the BSS .. I will of course be around and in the air. Just one of the guys. Of course any thing the USAAC might ask of me .. not townet .. I will try and comply, help out, etc .. to a limited degree.

I, Tbar .. have given .. all that I can.

This is indeed unfortunate, TBar. My first reaction to your latest post was a terrible feeling of guilt that I had started a topic that led to this and also that I had personally indicated a preference for an "independent" site.

On deeper reflection, however, it occurs to me that the content of your post above confirms what some have been saying about us lacking independence. We are threatened with the loss of this site because a few talked about the possibility of moving elsewhere. No decision reached by those responsible for such matters, simply a debate by the rank and file. Doesn't this confirm that we do not have independence; that we daren't speak our minds in case it upsets the masters to whom our home belongs?

As for personal abuse of yourself this has only come from a couple of maverick posters and the rest of us have defended you and criticized those who have tried to turn it into a personal attack on you. We, the responsible members of the community have stressed time and time again that we appreciate the help received from you as an individual and TOW as an organization. We are not ungrateful but some want to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of being independent of TOW. It may be that there is nothing to be gained by moving and it may well be that the BOD will decide against it. The notion, however, that TOW wants to disown us simply for having a debate on the merits of a different arrangement is, indeed food for serious thought. I do believe we want a home where we can discuss anything we please without being influenced in such a manner.

I will say no more and will not post again on the subject for fear of further antagonizing those on whom we are, apparently, totally dependent.

A simple debate. Read this thread again. It degraded to attacks and slander ..

It is a game community reputation they wish to protect .. and what is fueled here is slander
... because of the attitude, ingratitude, personal attacks (on me), and accusations of "making money" on the USAAC ...... They feel their reputation in the gaming community has been tainted and spit upon and no longer care to offer any extended help to the AA Communities. If I was going to vote on someone to have rights to to build a independent USA Air Attack site. I would vote for HAWK. Because I seen his work on the BAD and TS site. He did a awesome job making those sites !!! Plus he had the most guts of all the board of directors to openly kept saying in open chat was time for USA Air Attack to go independent. But anyway if Tullamore so dead set against USA Air attack going independent like UK, GE, and Korean site. Why dont he shut down his site and then move in with Tides of War site ? :) But back on the subject whats wrong with this forum ? Well it had too many forums withing forums. Also if you click on the wrong button, you will end up in the main Tides of War forums and which is very huge. Then you have to find your way back to usa air attack forums. Plus when you first sign in, you are signed in to the main tides of war forums and then have to find your way to usa air attack forums. Also once you are sign in, it doesnt stay sign in unless you do this, and that, and this, and then it finally keeps you log on. Just a pain in the butt. And dont get me started on the private message feature, it just a pain in the butt to use and get too. And THE NUMBER #1 REASON i dont like this forum, because its not independent , we just have a USA Air Attack forum added into the Tides of War forums.

thanks,

Nitro

P.S When the board of directors do have a vote to move USA Air Attack off Tides of War site. I wouldn't count TOW Joker and TOW Tbar votes. Because that would be bias since they are Tides of War. For example if someone was up for murder in a court trail, would you have his family members sitting on the jury ? NOOOOOOOOOOOoo!!!! You know darn well they would vote him indecent no matter what.

FYA: TAA and UKAAC are also nothing else but forums, in the same way as USAAAC. I can?t see any difference apart from TAA and UKAAC and its persons in charge are being accepted by its community (more or less), while USAAC isn?t.

It?s right when you say TAA and UKAAC are not organisations within an organisation but USAAC is within ToW but I still don?t see any differences in regard to the work and efforts for the community.

Sry but it looks rather like envy to me. Very bad manners...

So, for example if someone wants to kill your baby and we poll it out if we do it or not, you shouldn?t have a voting right but the killers only ?

What a BS. In what kind of democracy do you live, Mr. Cowboy ?

I?d say move along where you belong to. What are you doing here anyway ?

What I have to read from you is really unbelieveable and I?m totally aghast how naughty you are.

Thanks but no thanks Nitro

I had expressed my opinion not solicited for gain or undermine anything or anyone, I am just one voice with my own opinion.

As far as one community for AA it would not be a UK, GE and US on one server as Tulls say's but simply one community known as Air Attack Global.

@Nitro, you are totally off base when you speak of Tbar and Joker not having a vote in the BOD on this issue, they have done more then you could ever do for USAAC so don't go there.

This has been a discussion not a movement or takeover, It is the USAAC's decision to what direction they would like to pursue and how to do it. I thought you at least got that set in your head.

@Tow, I agree to what Xena refers to and it wasn't meant to be any sort of attack on TOW or any individual, these are just opinions not set in stone by no means, just opinions from a few.
