A Few Questions

Where are all of the Hollywood celebrities holding telethons asking for help in restoring Iowa and helping the folks affected by the floods?

Where is all the media asking the tough questions about why the federal government hasn't solved the problem? Asking where the FEMA trucks (and trailers) are?

Why isn't the Federal Government relocating Iowa people to free hotels in Chicago?

When will Spike Lee say that the Federal Government blew up the levees that failed in Des Moines?

Where are Sean Penn and the Dixie Chicks?

Where are all the looters stealing high-end tennis shoes and big screen television sets?

When will we hear Governor Chet Culver say that he wants to rebuild a 'vanilla' Iowa, because that's the way God wants it?

Where is the hysterical 24/7 media coverage complete with reports of cannibalism?

Where are the people declaring that George Bush hates white, rural people?

How come in 2 weeks, you will never hear about the Iowa flooding ever again?

All points very well spoken.

Simple reason:

1. The media has a liberal bias Image

2. All the tree huggers will blame Bush for not going along with the Kyoto Treaty Image

3. Because it happened in a predominately white area of the country. Image

4. Americans have been made to feel guilty for everything

*Slavery

*Global warming

*Rise in crime around the globe

*Cereal that gets soggy in milk! ImageImageImage

Have you noticed that reports coming from Iraq? Image

Yea me neither.

When things are going good and bombings are down, that is boring news so the media will not report that!

They will only report sensationalist headlines and blame the Bush administration for the deaths.

If you can bring attention to the plight of a predominately minority stricken area of the country and blame another race for making it happen that creates resentment and people tune in!

Temper you make a valid point(s), to these I will add this:

New Orleans is surrounded by water, the Gulf of Mexico on one side and Lake Pontchartrain on the other and New Orleans is physically sitting in a bowl shaped depression(geologically speaking).

If you live in a bowl and water surrounds you on almost every side, what happens when the water rises?!

(The bowl [New Orleans] get filled with water).

Too many people want to blame FEMA or the Bush administration for this catastrophy. How is this different than living near a volcano, fault line, reclaimed land from the sea.

Common sense tells us that if we choose to live near these potential dangers that "potentially" bad things could happen!

I get tired of the bleeding heart - tree hugging liberals complaining about this crap when, IF they would step back and look at tragedies like New Orleans could have been avoided if only common sense would have prevailed.

But it is nice to live near the ocean or a mountain or rivers etc, etc.

Somewhere someone decided that it was OK to lose your mind and play stupid to the obvious!

Walk down a street, in a high crime area of a large city screaming racial slurs, chances are you will be met with the same if not worse.

How is that any different than living next to a volcano?

Time to wake up people.

I found FEMA and the rest of the rescue operation, they are all still down South, giving those free handouts to all those poor people who are damn stupid to help themselves. As long as there are free handout, people will not help themselves. What hurts is that the people who truly need the help can never get it and their claims are denied. The Welfare systems has been nothing but a free hand out for people who are too damn lazy to get a job. Yeah some people do need it, but I would bet it is less than one quarter of the people who actually get it.

It's a shame to say, but we are heading towards some very dark times. `NOW is the time to do something about it. GO OUT AND VOTE!!

This message was brought to you by a proud member of the Right Wing Conspiracy. This message was not approved by the republican party, because they seem to have lost there heads. It's seem that they have forgot to pull them out of their own ARSES!

I'm just going to sit on the fence and watch this one. Hopefully there is a left wing conspirator out there who will respond and turn the post into an all out war. It has all the potential for an exciting couple of days Image

The irony is that temper, who innocently started this, is probably a tree hugger
