An explanation is deserved and in order to you.
Slow down and digest this a bit more I ask. If you can sit back a minute and really digest this topic .. to degree it is way off and rather petty in the grand scheme of things.
My action were taken to satisfy some complaints and suggestions by others. It was a temp solution, some saw it as a dictate etc, and the way it will be.
What I did creating a new forum and making a post to explain that posts were not deleted, but simply moved, seemed like a further attack by me on someone(s) I have come to understand. Some took offense to the title: "Totally Useless Information" and some thought the title a slam directed at them personally. This not the case, however if that is the way some see it and feel about it .. I apologies as it was not meant in that light at all.
Some felt that it was I that deleted their post and censored there information. I did no such thing, but the timing with the forum creation and post movement seemed to them that in fact it was me.
I have never been a great 'writer'. In fact I tried to get someone to re-word all my posts so they would still get the message across but be most importantly "politically correct" and properly 'toned'. This talent is something I lack at times.
What I have done at this time is as directed by the USAAC FM in this thread, nothing more. The "name" of the forum can be whatever is decided and will be set so when I have been instructed to do so. what I did the first time is exactly what is done now .. simply in a different order.

I have received several, several PM regarding this entire topic and then some so I thought I might answer them all for the most part herewith. Lots of reading so some can just skip this part.
This topic really should be in the Co, Xo room, but at this time to move this to that forum would again be "proof"

First, rather than simply ask a question .. the option is ATTACK. Why? Re-read everything I have posted, please.
I have my faults for sure .. but not acting with the best interest of all and the USAAC is not one of them.. even if I was in error ... or not. My every intention was positive. Trying to accommodate all gets me in hot water at times .. but wouldn't you try and do a good job also for everyone? I think so. If one does a lot, one makes more mistakes than one that does nothing.
Secondly there are a lot of very good folks trying to do the best job they can. Granted mistakes are made from time to time but there are generally minor mistakes that sometimes get blown way out of proportion in many cases. this might be one of those times.
If the 'name' of the forum did not suit you or anyone, simply say so.
The name is no big deal. I named it what I did simply because there is a like forum with the same name in the BSS
forums .. for exact same reasons. I named it what I did because it is a convention I've used on many forums. I
named it what I did because the name itself leans toward "funny and humor". It was not given its name for any
other reason and certainly NOT to imply someone else's good time is not approved by me.
It should be appreciated that I took the time to 'construct' a place for that type of posting, that in itself should indicate I was trying to accommodate all I feel. Don't make such a simple naming thing into something more than it was. It was an innocent thing the naming of the forum. I don't' care what the forum or section name is. In addition there was no subliminal message I was trying to deliver to anyone. If the name of the forum was offensive to any one I sincerely apologize.
Where this forum is placed.
Where the forum was placed is exactly where the UKAA put there forum for "non game related posts" for the exact
same reasons as I did. We happen to have a lot more 'categories'. It happens to fall at the bottom of the list
simply because it was the last one added .. AND it was a "temporary solution". What do *I* really care where it
is? I don't have any preference, my only objective is to try and keep it all organized. Any 'sorting' order can be addressed later. The forum and topics are there and that is what is important.

I put the forum.. exactly where our Forum Manager asked it to be placed. I was NOT given a name for the forum, when that is decided .. I will assign that name.
Guidelines for the forum
I set a 'temporary guideline' for the forum that was most reasonable. There was no restrictions placed on that
other than what is outlined in the Forum Protocol ( A protocol that YOU endorsed .. not my rules).
Why was the action taken?
Because of complaints. Should I point out who the parties where that made the complaints. I am compelled to say no
because if I reveal them, many will not feel they can contact a member of Staff without their name being made
public etc. Where the complains a big deal? Not to me, but I try to accommodate all if I can. The complaints were explained .. but because YOU don't use the forum as they do .. you cannot see their viewpoint. Those complaints are NOT my opinion, nor do I share the same feeling in all cases. However, what is the harm of trying to solve their problem and make them happy as well?
When storm clouds are forming.
I requested some time ago that the Forum Protocol be re-visited by the BoD. Then a week to 10 days ago I made a
formal request in the Co Xo Boards that the "forum protocol" be placed on the BoD Agenda. Last BoD meeting I
wanted to address "forum Protocol" and the forums in general, however time was running short and I conceded that
the matter could wait till the next meeting .. apparently I was wrong.
Our First Forum Manager
When the BoD addressed having a forum manager steps were taken, a process was followed, and we nominated our
current USAAC FM. At that time the FM requested a set of 'rules' to guide him so he could monitor these forums
under the guideline of the BoD. Those rules were adopted, at that time my objection was that the Rule Set was not
clear enough and did not address specifics. I was overruled and told that "common sense" was good enough. The FM
at the time was uncomfortable with the "common sense" rule but, would give it a go because the BoD assured him ..
he was the boss and would not be overruled etc. Our FM was missing for a time because of pressing home front work, so Tbar and Kid and in some cases Pop and Knightmare would step in. Frankly .. there was nothing really that was missed other then petty stuff. They all did a good job.
Now our FM is back on the job .. trying his best to do that job under the current Forum Protocol. I'm sure he will
listen to your input and I have no doubt he will try and make everyone happy the same as I have .. or Kid has ..
or anyone on the USAAC Staff has tried to do. YOU asked folks to do a difficult job.. let them do it and give them a
chance .. don't attack first .. talk first please.
YOU are a member of the BoD or USAAC Staff .. if not butt out
There is nothing you can't bring to the table at a BoD meeting to address or have changes made to. As a reasonable
person you know this. YOU are part of the process and it is YOU that helps construct, improve and build on everything that we do.

2 hours of log searches and I have found and identified every post open/close every action taken on every reply, etc. A report will be sent to FM and submitted/reviewed to the BoD at next meeting.
If you want to know who did what .. check with the FM.
I'm pleased to say.. there are NO entires that are unauthorized or otherwise.
