LTS NO Rolling starts.

This means you cannot 'anticipate' the scramble order and start rolling for a fast take off.

This 'rolling start' is no longer legal.. in any sense of the word

This 'rolling start' is my fault because I interpreted something incorrectly from years of bad habit in FFA..

I've allowed a rolling start in the Fun Event LTS so long as your 'wheel' were still on the deck untill the scramble order. I saw this as the same as when you are in FFA and your wheel touch down .. you could not be shot at. This 'roolling start' is apparantly wrong by current AA pilot and Co/Xo opinions. The majority rules .. so this practice can no longer be observed .. i.e a rolling start. You must be at full stop at scramble before you can release the break and go go go..

Yes, you can still line up on the runway .. but you can't release the breaks until the scramble order comes. NO ROLLING STARTS.

That is correct.. I said FFA twice and that is exactly what I meant. You need to be able to not only read and quote someone.. but to be able to comprehend what it is saying and understand the 'spirit' of a post.

I did not lock the other topic to 'shut you up'. I locked the topic because it was OUTDATED.

1) Old news.. very old and not applicable with the current rules.. thus it can confuse those who "don't keep up with things". The same way I lock or delete OLD NEW LIKE: The server is down.

2) Not applicable because the LTS rules have been changed on the rolling start issue.

LTS as a fun event is different from LTS as a League event.

FFA is mentioned because.. as I said.. I interpreted that as long as your wheels are 'down' ... FROM FAA rules and understandings .. that you are not taking off.. only rolling. So.. therefor.. you are legal to roll at full throttle anticipating the "Scramble" order so long as those wheels are touching the ground.

This rolling start was put into , and allowed , as a fun event rule because of the number of noobs and inexperienced pilots who always ended up colliding with an experienced pilots who would 50% of the time get mad at the noob. With the rolling start .. there were nealy 99% less collisions on take off.

Since that time.. the Fun Event Mgr has changed the rolling start rules I believe.

gives folks the impression that the topic was locked down because I didn't like what you said.. fact is you must have went WAY down the pages of posts to find that one.. and its just out of date. This is the type of thing that gets 'flaming' going .. you should avoid such. You been around long enough to know what fuels aruguments etc.. in a way you are purposely misleading folks some could say.

Your comments, in the original post that is now locked because its old .. did not make sense because we are in the "Fun Event" forums .. and because the topic was LTS .. and had nothing to do with FFA.... and I still have no idea where you got FFA from. The topic etc has nothing to do with FFA. If you going to quote my response in the opening topic where I was explaining where I got the BAD HABIT "from" .. that was from FAA.

Hope that this long and detailed response helps you out my friend... but really.. lets talk about something else in the correct forum that is much more interesting .. to all the other members of the USAAC

That is NOT the original question as you say.. and your "original" was not a question but a statement

If you would simply go read the original post that you are taking this all from.. you will see. But do read it.
