BSS vs Thorn 2 Squad Results

Here are the scores from the 2 squad match earlier today. We played well, but came up a little short.

We did have a pretty good turn out with the addition of Rew89 and Burton making an appearance for this match.

This gave us a full compliment of pilots for todays match and it was appreciated.

What I saw from todays match was a lot of pilot not use to flying with each other. This is why we have practices and friendly matches, so we can get accustomed to each others flying styles. This is also why I broke the squad into wing teams. If we get the people on the wing teams flying together against our other wing teams in practice. We will soon learn how each other flies. Also, once we do that we can start switching up the wing teams so everyone get a chance to get accustomed to new wing team members.

This next couple of weeks, I'm going to leave it in your hands to pick a wingman that you want to fly with. Our Eagle Squad should to the same (BLUE WING). I want every one to pick at least 2 people to fly with as wingmen. Anytime you fly in the teams arena fly with your wingman and don't leave him. Talk on Team Speak at all times.

Everyone can have different wingmen. ie. Joker picks Strife and Tbar. Tbar picks Jonny and Strife, Strife picks Joker and Talon. Any combination should work fine. Just get together and pick a time where all of you can be together. I don't care when just as long as you do it. I also want you to send me an e-mail telling me who your wingmen are. At this time I should be getting at least 15 e-mails by the end of this week.

Hopefully next week we can get some of our regular pilots back like Coldfire and Zarn maybe Air Boss will make an appearance. Would be nice , but we can't always count on all of our good pilots showing up. We have to get everyone up to speed.

Next week we take on our good friends at USHA, We will start as the Visiting team in the GE Plane. If anyone wants to see film of Yesterdays match with USHA and Warships, I have it available. (Reffing does have it privileges. Since I try to ref a match with our upcomming opponents in advance to get some Idea of how to go against them. )
