Ive read a lot on here about the correct distance to fire them at and everything, but if i have an enemy sub selected and am facing in the general direction of it, will the hedgehogs fire in its direction like the deck guns do, or do they always just go straight ahead?
I use them as if they fire directly forward.
They land in a circle so you don't have to be spot on but accuracy is important.

hedgehogs don't pivot. It's a fixed box of mortars bolted to the deck that fires straight out. Makes it rough to aim correctly in heavy seas.
