Crashes are on the alt-t screen so replay not needed.

AAA deaths can, I think, be worked out easily without replay. On the alt-t screen you will see that the deaths of one team hardly ever match the kills of the other team. Go check some screenshots ;) . I believe this is due to AAA deaths.

If alt-t shows Team A deaths are 30 but Team A kills are only 28 , then Team A had 2 deaths to AAA .

" Team A deaths minus Team B kills equals Team A deaths to AAA " (and vice versa.)

Can anyone confirm or deny this as I'm not 100% certain :) .

AA death is counted only +1 to AI ratio for the AA that shot the pilot down.

No 1/2 point ratio is deducted from attacking score. At least when i did try in open teams.

GB AA shot me down 2 times while i was GE.

Ratio AI for GB shows +2 and nothing else

For GE it shows Times Downed 2 and nothing else.

That means a death in enemy AA is free and doesn't count in the Team Ratio where take to get the scores.

Sooo, i kill someone in enemy AA, and than get shot there from AA.

Enemy team get a half point deducted from Team Ratio and Friendly Team a half Point plus.

The death in Enemy AA is free so no points for that show up, only in the Team AI ratio.

If this is the case, we may have to review some close results from the league and count AA death in.

I don't play that much these days, but on the tags issue, as has been said its something Thorn have in the past done, and tbh from doing it there isn't that much of an advantage gained, as tactically is screws you over.

i.e. every tag would just appear [ThornSqd]. Think we tried it for one match about 2 or 3 years ago, we just found that it was impossible to wing up with someone, if someone is shouting for help etc you can't find them. Its all swings and roundabouts.

I think as Thorn when it was me and Dale incharge as most people know we tried anything and everything, at the end of the day if you stop one thing a squad wanting to dodge the system can and will find a way. We did do it where by myself, dale and a few others would fly under a random tag. at the time i played loads and everyone knew me as [THORN]Z1 so i did fly some matches as X56 or something equally silly, i know Dale was officially Y1 but flew Y38 for a while.

On the numbers issue, I know Thorn don't have a problem, as we have taken on a load of rookies, but i do agree if both squads have 8 or 9 players then they should have to fly not all sit on US. I know Steve is very good letting our rookies have a crack in one half of games, i think we did that vs TKFM, at the end of the day new pilots have to learn. When i started playing i was flying for Vipers, who really strugled for numbers, and i got pumelled every game, but you do pick up bits from it.

I should start playing more I miss a good flame war ;)

Sorry Fury, I wont step down to your level this time.
We all know also other squads using match tags but pilots of TS defending it on this thread with tooth and nails. This is why I?m talking about TS squad in the very first place. No need to talk about WS or FD, when they don?t reply on here.

Fury, if you want to take it as a personal attack on you or TS - squad by all means, so for gods sake do it.
maybe cause we dont want to get baited into a pointless arguement with you and Furys been doing just fine. Go back 7 to 8 Years all squads back on wire play use the tag we use in matches [WARSHIPS]

we just added the wing placement and if we could we add our names to so you at least know who killed you :)

really isnt that why everyone reg. match tag so you have a fair chance to look at the squad your fighting and im sure most can remember whos, who

I better leave this so called discussion to those who?re thinking, they have the farsightedness and skill, to be able to judge about justified suggestions.
I wont take part in future discussions about the game and its competitions but reserve my right to edit rules for any TAA hosted competition at any time. If squads wont take part in TAA competitions because of this, so I can surely live with it, as any other host of competitions has to live with the non-attendance of Rb squad in future competitions because of unfair or half-cocked rules.
You can see im playing some catch up :)

Have to agree with Tulla each communty has the right to have rules they want for there leagues.

Would be nice if we had consistence thru out all leagues no matter whos hosting it.

I think that was Temps intial thought here, everyone got to learn to bend a bit.

Some of you are hard headed and thats your personality. We all have the love for the game, so

everyones imput is needed. I saw alot of good ideas and some not to good. I think end of the day

something good will come out this. Overall its not really the Admins or Lms but the users and squads that will make the choice and have polls ect rules and changes they like to see. When that happen we all got live with and enjoy AA
