Fun Event Policy: Rank will not be affected

This game event "Football" sounds enjoyable!, and my hats off for you coming up

with it, and yes I believe others will find it enjoyable as well, How ever, I can only

find maybe a few or 1 down side(s) as follows;

1. Pilots might Tend to avoid participating in these types of "Fun Events" without

the absolute insurance and guarantee., that their " RANK " will not be affected!

I say why the fear, if your good your good, if not as good as you think, Then you will

most assuredly avoid this "Fun Event.," I know it is for fun, but there are a lot of players

(Pilots) who are not members in a Squadron, and they miss out on the fun of "Squad

Matches" that probably have ranking for the pilot and it's squad affected! " But ,"

this is acceptable & fun and they do not mind if rank or Top Status for their squad is

affected, due to it being "Competitive"

To me that is the fun of this game's entirety "Compete" in every thing from fun events

to what ever ( with exception to a non squad member could not compete in squad

matches) My rank is so low, I have to look down to find it, and I know you have to achieve

scoring to get it higher, I have to go up against Top high ranking Vets in the FFA arena

in order to climb that ladder, but, I'm a El Lobo (lone wolf) in FFA which makes it harder

to climb when your facing 3 or 4 veteran pilots descending on you at the same time. So

since it seems that the majority of Veteran Pilots enjoy the higher altitudes vs the very low

ones, where they can dance in the air, without hitting the ground terrain, and they are very

much uncomfortable flying under 150 feet!, Now as follows for me;

I'm a very low flyer, so low, depending on the terrain 5 feet!!! and that's no bull either! Why do

I fly and feel comfortable at 5' or under 150' feet, cause I know the terrain and bases like

the vet knows the sky, I know at what low footage I can make a very sharp and quick turn, and

or turn roll over! and as for the bases, the low footage to swoop in between base's buildings,

I have even flown upside down through the buildings and runways for which causes me to

reverse my command keys, if I'm upside down naturally I have to use the dive key "U" on the

key board in order to climb out!., So where am I going with this? Simple "RANK" I know that

I would be one hell of a scorer!!!! and it would be more competitive for me and everyone!!!!

In conclusion, I a very low level attacker, not a "Spawner" I prey on those that un-suspects

me coming around the forest edges or through them to get those who swoop down on me or

others and yes those that are damaged and try to make it to the runway! My tactical advantage

is I know your up there and you have to come down sooner or later and I will be waitingg on ya.,

So i ask you to consider and the other pilots if in agreement to "Affect the Pilot's Rank" in this Foot-

I do not use my tag GUNSLINGER, many veteran pilots only know me as tag;

Flt93_LetsRoll or AlphaOmega or Git..., and yes I know what GB's definition of

a Git is, just like the Marine Corps knows what a "Gomer Pyle is.,, Numb nuts!..,

and I only just recently found out after reading a post by Tbar, but when I made

that Tag, it was in representation American Slang for "GET" like in Git some or just

plain Git, like Git the hell out!!!! USA WEST VIRGINIA ENGLISH LANGUAGE DICTIONARY

DEFINITION WORD; Git: " slang for Get., short reference for wanting and intending to

do something, in an example; oredering some one to leave your property, instead of saying;

" Get the hell out of here," one shorten's it and just says "Git" very strong meaning

to those born and bread in the hills, cause what follows "Git" is a "Double Barrel Shot

You seem to have missed the part in the rules that says PLAYER STATS.

You will see your rank going up or down during the event.

However when you leave the event your rank will be the same as it was before the event.

All events have roookie scoring, this means rank is not affected.....

NO Pop, I got in a hurry as usual typing ahead of myself and probably mis phrased

what I meant: I read all where it said "Rank" will not be affected, and you say that

after the event, your Rank will remain the same as it was prior to entry, "I meant

that " NO " it should affect every one's rank, what you go in with, say Sgt and if you

achieved in the event FOf 1, then after the event " The Rank shall stay, cause you

earned it, even if it was only classified as a fun event! This "Fun Event Is Still Competitive"

which makes it "Fun to begin with, the same as in the competition between Squad Matches.

I feel that in my opinion only, "These higher ranked pilots would be more so competitive

if their Rank was affected. " Why?" as a Rookie, I have something to gain vs The Veteran

who has something to lose or gain! I say let every event affect the Pilot's Rank, I guess

where I'm going with this is, example: NASCAR veteran Dale Earnhart jr vs Off The Street

Jhon Doe, in a "Fun Event" for charity say "KIDS IN NEED IN DEED", Now suppose in this

event NASCAR VET will have his points affected if he loses to Off the Street Doe and Doe

has the possibility at a chance if he wins, "To drive in a Championship NASCAR Race against

all Race Car Vets, Now I ask you, Do you think chances are, That Earnhart Jr will race

against this guy if his "POINTS" being affected?" Nope he would decline! and the kids well

so be it! So is Earnhart construed to be competitive or non competitive? DUE TO FEAR????

Let The Rank be Affected!!!! Finally, I f a Squad Leader fears is rank will be affected in this

Fun Event> "So Be It" he should not be a Squad Leader for "Fear" of not bein able to handle

his own. Now if I'm missing something here, point it out, and remember this is only a mere

suggestion that I'm for letting this event affect rank towards all who enter! Gunny / Semper

follow up pertaining to "Fun Event Football" Sounds good, especially with the

AA guns on, makes it even more challenging & Competitive, Is there any way

you can take a 'Vote" on this subject matter for Affecting Rank??? like Pop

or you did for the wanting to fly and enter 'Bombers?"

I'm only trying to make and or improve some what the game, in no way to hurt it,

leaving "Rank" Non Affected takes away some of the competition, do you agree and

or do some other pilots all so agree it takes it away, and "AFFECTS THE MOST

The USAAC Policy for Fun Events is that 'Rank will NOT be affected'. Fun event rooms are set up as 'rookie'.

USAAC wants all ranges of pilots from brand new to experienced to participate in the USAAC Fun Events and thus 'rank' is not affected. The idea is Fun first, Competition second.
