Sal's Task List

Sal suggested a 'Task List" of things that need to be done .. need to be addressed .. or needs folks to help out with. I'll attempt such a list and we can add to it as suggestions are made and mark as complete or accomplished as appropriate.

As you look over this list .. if you know of folks that might lend a hand . .please point them to a staff member for more information.

Not sure exactly how to do this or present this .. but, I'l give it a go :)

TASK LIST

I Webmaster Assistant.

We need a webmaster level person to help with this site where the coding and so forth can be cleaned up and done properly. This person needs working knowledge of basic php, html, xhtml, css, mysql.

1) Reveiw all pages and bring to current xhtml standards

2) Review all page css and bring up to current css standards

3) Clean up and optimized php and html coding.

4) Review, update and install menu system that will work over frames.

5) prperly impliment rss feeds and exports

6) Create mysql databases for league records.

7) Create mysql databases and forums for auto league signups.

8) redesign a simplified site.

9) Create, maintain install all entries needed at airattack-central

II Graphics

Artists.

This person needs a good working knowledge and experience with graphic tools. WE need someone that can take the basic's of what we have, refine them and make them optimized for web presentation. Graphics for the forums and site as well as trophies and awards, USAAC Logo's , Crests, Shields, Signatures, etc.

Flash and Animations

Misc goodies we would like to have in the future.

1) Clean up and optimize all graphics

2) Create graphics as needed

3) Establish templates for USAAC standard needs.

III Forums Engineer and Assistant

Working Knowledge of forum fundamentals at all levels.

1) Working 'groups' for USAAC BoD

2) Working "groups" for USAAC Staff

3) Convert certain Forums/Sub forums to interact with 'groups'

IV League and Event Managers.

We need staff to both work, create and manage our events and leagues.

3 postions we need filled asap.

Asst head ref - Skydancer

Asst. league master - Major Pain

Asst. Webmaster -

Asst. Event manager -

Head Event manager - Pop

will be steping up and Tbar will be foucusing more on the website (having some fun too Image )

We need Asst. in these 4 areas, everyone has real lives , it be nice if responsibility didnt have to fall

on just one person. So when something comes up, he or she has the help and a person that is aware

of whats going on in those Depts.

So start asking around, and hopefully we will have a couple ppl to chose from
