Tickled Pink Again! Lts 07/26/2007

Another installment of LTS weekly. Last nights LTS was another disaster for the boys in red. The ladies in pink, even after being courted nicely by the gentlemen of SU would still have nothing to do with their advances. It was like expecting to get a big french kiss at the end of a date only to have your date shake hands and say thanks! R E J E C T E D !!!! Letting the SU team have one round, the GE team walked away with 7 out of 8 rounds during match play. A lot of the TS boys joined in on the GE team, making it very difficult for the rag tag team of "pick ups" on the SU team to formulate a decent battle plan. Trying High and Low attacks, group and spread formations meant nothing, as the SU team was shot out of the skies. Congratulations to the GE team for a well played game!

Problems still persist in the rules area of the game as some are not wanting to play in a proper manner. The event manager was having a hard time controlling the game because a few of the GE team insisted on taking off after being shot down or where taking of very late after a round had started. . In some case the map and altitude limits where exceed, and I also found myself guilty of chasing one GE plane up to 12,000 ft. before realizing that I had made and infraction of the rules which I stated to the event manager.

I think it is necessary that we all take time go to the LTS rules page found in this forum and review the rules before our next game. I can tell you that the event manager will start dealing with rule infractions much more severely if we do not start complying with them.

I for one love flying this event and I don't want to see it abandoned, because it becomes too unruly to play.

If you'd like to join us for LTS, First, PLEASE READ THE RULES PAGE HERE IN THE FORUMS. Then you can come and join us every Wednesday night at 9:00 PM EDT. Come in on the SU (Soviet RED) team or the GE (German Pink/Purple) Team. The game lasts for about and hour with a free for all at the very end after 8 rounds of play.
