I've been offerd and accepted the promotion to US squadron XO, I haven't been member of BSS for very long, about six months or so, and I have taken a great intrest into the membership and the game of Air Attack.
A lot of you have been around a while I have not yet had the pleasure meeting. I would really like to get to know each and everyone of you, but it is not possible if you don't come fly with us. The ranks of the BSS are growing, we have more and more pilots wanting to fly with us. While we are recruting new pilots almost dail, I want to know where are all the old ones are?? You know who you are.
Tbar has gone far above what most people would do to make this a really good competiton squad. He's done a great job from what I have seen, but yet where is the respect of all you guys who have joined our ranks, but don't show up to fly with us. We actually have a lot of very relaxed polices for this squad compared to others I have seen. I think too relaxed in a lot of cases.
Sometime a while ago, you asked or where invited to join us. In addditon you asked for signature tags and Tbar and others took the time to make them for you.
I'm proud to see mine whenever I post a subject here or on USAAC.
Take a look at the web pages here and at USAAC. Many days and nights and long hours where spent out of someones personal life to make them. Did you think that someone snapped their little fingers and they suddenly appeared? A lot of time and hard work went in to making US, YOU and I a home here on the web. Check out some of the other teams web sites and see what they have to offer for their teams. Its nothing close to ours. I feel proud to belong to this group and I would hope that you do too.
I guess in short what I'm tring to say is, how about showing some interest in our flying family.
Show a little respect and respond to us. Let us know what is going on with you Let us know if you're having problems in your RL. Just short response to let us know you are ok would be nice.
I want for us to have the best squad flying. Not in shear numbers of memebers, but in the quality of our good sportsmanship and fair play. We have a lot of things in the planning stages and we want your input and your cooperation, because with out all of you we don't have much to rely on.
We are a young squad and we have a lot to learn and believe it or not there are other squads out there who want to help us grow. We owe them a little respect too, by showing up to practicies with them when they are scheduled. They have offered us help when they had to learn it all on there own. I think it says a lot for the kind of people who play the game of Air Attack.
Be a good squad member, talk to us and let us know how things are going.
