Bombers from the United States made bombing runs on Soviet and German airfields. The 3 American bombers known as the B-17 Flying Fortress attacked allied and axis powers.
Orders where given to the Soviet team to protect the bombers on their first bombing run against the German airfield.
However, when the Soviet planes where in close proximity to the B-17's, the fighters came under heavy attack from the bombers protective guns.
The Soviets where unable to protect the bombers due to the hail of gunfire coming from them from all sides of the bombers.
Furthermore the German squad tried to shoot down the the Soviet fighter escort as well as the bombers and where able to do so, but yet they where not totally successful.
As a last resort the German Luftwaffe was contacted by the Americans and asked if they wanted to take a shot at protecting the Bombers of the Unites States against the Soviet Aggressors.
The Germans soon found out that the United States had no mercy on the German fighter protection as they themselves where also shot out of the skies by the mighty B-17 Flying Fortresses. As the world now knows the Americans cannot be trusted by anyone.
Last Team Standing had a outstanding game last night. As you can see from the last few forum posts that LST is like a box of chocolates, because you never know what going to get.
From Flying Saucers to rouge bombers, this game is unpredictable and is more fun than a barrel of monkeys.
As for game results I do believe that the Soviet team squeaked out the win last night by one round.
The game plans of both teams was very good and the quarters of play lasted for quite a while as it was tough for both teams to pull out the win.
The level of play is increasing by all the participants and it makes this game one of my very favorites to play and write about.
If you would like to play Last Team Standing you are welcome to join in on either the SU (Red) or GE ( Purple) team. The game starts at 9:00 PM Sharp EST. every Wednesday night. The rules are simple and easy to follow and everyone is invited to play.
