Actual Gold

My copy of E:RT Gold International is worn out, no longer loads. OK. No biggie, I'll buy another. I Google ,then Amazon'd and Ebay'd trying to find one maybe a little cheaper. Every single offering which says it's Gold was not. It's the pre-patch. Where can I buy an actual E:RT Gold International? And is that cool, these sellers at Amazon and Ebay saying they're offering E:RT Gold when they're not?

Do you have issues with applying patches? (It's nice to have Gold, but...)

Sorry in the delay--but it was unavoidable (computer was stolen). Anyhow, to answer, No, I have no problem with patching, but it's...here goes: the patched version in no way compares to the International Version in gameplay, ship modling, life-like ocean, and general authencity--to me! Fortunately, the first copy I ever owned was the IGV. After ordering another copy some time later, I received the pre-patched version. OK. I ordered the patch and was floored with how un-like it was to my first copy. I didn't realize then there were versions and patches and such. I could'n play it, having gotten used to the graphical representation of my first copy. There is a world of difference! I defy anyone to check out all versions and tell me that the IGV is not the best of the lot. It's like a whole different game! And that's one mans opinion...

If people advertises that they'll sell the Gold Ed. on auction sites like Ebay, then you can only blame them for either not knowing or deliberately lying
