How Did It Go?

wasn't to bad, we only had 5/6 pilots Joker I think was having trouble, and the whole of RB squad turning up on our runway mid game, could of been handy ;)

BSS consistantly had 2 or more pilots in the top half, and more 3 of the 4 quaters 1 in the top 10 :)

personally I had 1 of my best showings to date

1st quater US: Had a goodspell mid sesion picked up 4 kills then got stuck on 90+% with no flaps and popped off :( we did pick up 2 kills of GB in the last 30 seconds to pinch 3rd :) swooping in over the GE base like men possesed!!! came out 8-8

2nd SU: we headed straight at US (on my advice) and initially had the better of them IMO, as the qater went on however there superior numbers and orginazation showed through. came out 8-10

3rd GB started well enough GE came for the pin we ran SU came across chickened out and we ended up engaging the GE at low alt, not bad and they never held a pin! for about 5 minutes there was a lot of low level dog fighting between the GB and SU base involving every1 which we more then held our own in. lost track of my score but around the 8-8 mark again

4th GE: what happened...... I know I had a lot of bother from US they seemed all over us, and GB put a squeeze on late on, but we never really got alt and we never really Z&B IMO a mistake but hey what can you do. came out around 8-12

I had a great time. havent flown with the sheep in ages what with RL, I think we should work on pairing up, start geling as a team more, is great flying in ToW colours, but feels sometimes as tho were a bunch of inderviduals that just look the same :( how about an internal 2v2 leage Tbar? seeing as how SAJ never shows and has so much time he can do the donkey work ;)

cheers all

great flying with those who were there WP! hopefully get upwith you all again soon :)

These are things I call LIVE FIRE practice. We use a real opponent, from our own team or another squad in cooperation.

Monday Nights we do a 3x3 with FD for the USA Pilots. Now what would be good for the EURO pilots is to find another EURO Squad what would be willing to do a 2x, 3x or 4x with BSS EURO on Monday nights at a time good for you folks. I can't hardly do 3pm my time for 8PM your time anymore, sometimes yes, but can't be counted on therefor *I* can't put this together for you.

Saj, stop playing 'pool' and get back to flying :)

PIcken, it would be nice if you can get on Saj or take the lead on this .. we need a 'constant' Euro Practice hour... every week.. same time .. like clockwork.

I agree 100% with what Picken observed in that WE tend to fly as solo pilots rather than a 'team'. "Lead' pilots sometimes have to 'slow down' or grab alt hard so the rest of the pack can catch up. When you are shot down .. its not always the best move to 'rush off' into combat again .. get alt and 'wait' for a team mate to appear .. its going to happen soon .. so just wait a few seconds. Then you have a 'pair' .. or team. Don't fly into combat without a wingman.

We need more 'chatter' as to our intention and what we are doing. We do will with calling out pilots that we 'hit' .. but not doing well with announcing "IN" and so forth. A Wingman needs to know this because of how fast things happen. Its not always best to just blindly follow a wingman when they are "IN" .. sometimes its best to stay UP and right on top of him to protect the flank.

We need a lot of working flying in pairs .. or buddy up .. ie. as a team.
