Squad Night

Ok, Friday was a start. A few observations: 1) bind all keys "before" flying a coop mission....lol. Tbar, at least you did get up in the air. 2) don't waste ammo because you are bored.....Lupin, aren't you glad I was a friendly on your six....nuff said. 3) Ox, good flying but we need to work on team tactics in future missions.....I'd take you as a wing man during any fight. As for me, I never really was that great but, boy there's alot of rust to knock off. All-in-all, great squad night and I look forward to next Friday.

I can't profress to be any kind of IL2 expert.. dumb as it sounds, I thought my kep maps would be inported when I installed the 1946 edition.

OK.. moving on ... doing some key mapping ..

BTW .. I still don't know what file the key maps are in .. or even if they are in a different file

Tbar, I found some info pertaining to this on other forums:

Joystck settings are found in the conf under [rts_joystick].

Keyboard settings are pilot specific. Once you have a configuration you like under a specific pilot, simply copy/paste the settings file into your new pilots. The settings file found in the Users folder is the game default settings. ie: \Ubi Soft\IL-2 Sturmovik Forgotten Battles\Users\{pilot name}\settings.ini
