Final Comments

Not going to start flogging a dead horse? just commenting on couple of things that have popped out on tribe?s forum in the last 2 hate threads. After this I hope no-one resurrects this topic again. Unfortunately sometimes even the best intentions hurt people and usually the most innocent ones.

DS was right when he said that we MIGHT form a new guild, but it was never meant to be DA with just a new name. It was to be a very small ?friend? guild, where all members would raid in different raid coalitions. All the time it was also very possible that there would not be a new guild. It took 4 days to get a guild charter and several days more to get even the needed 10 names (and succeeded only with help from non DA friends who used their alts to sign the charter). We also knew that it was also quite possible that it would fail?as it did. Practically all SiN members have left it or have applied to other guilds (including myself).

The end days of DA were an example of poor management and chaotic communication. There was never a list of people who were going to be invited to new guild if it was formed and to my knowledge there wasn?t any kind of coherent pre-inviting. Yes, I did personally tell about possible new guild to 1 or 2 people. However I also told them that the new guild could fail, it would prob have very few members, that it would probably never raid as guild and it would probably not join tribes raids. When I picked the few I told in the pre-disbanding chaos, I considered peoples commitment to tribes and their guild needs. Those told were people who were raiding with non-tribes coalitions or who had said that they would leave tribes (hence not telling people like for example Lisz and Yorga, who were more than committed to tribes. Not a personal 'dislike' statement from me) and/or who would no longer need lots of guildies to do 5-man instances. I didn?t tell even most of my rl friends about new guild and afterwards I suggested them that they should join FI.

P.s. I know that the disbanding of DA was not done as well as it should have and I apologize to all people about the misery and hurt feelings. Unfortunately due to bad communication and chaos DS was the one getting the blame. Don?t hate him too much because of it. I am at least as guilty as he is. Feel free to went your feelings on me in game

Short, Sharp and Brief...

I apologise to all previous members of DA for the cack handed way in which DA was disbanded. A cock up on a huge scale and one i have learnt from.

As for SiN well again this is a mess up. As lost has posted this was going to be a small friend Guild but from the outset i now see this was doomed to fail. People were already applying left right and centre to go to other guilds.

I have since become aware of the fact that there are a large amount of people who generally think i am a sly, cheating, manipulating s--- and to those people i say, No...I am not...

Simply someone who thought he could make some people happy but clearly fecked up.

Is this a lesson learnt...Yes

Do i wish i could turn back the clock....Yes

Should i have handed over the Guild...I Don't know

Am i sorry....Yes

Anyway. To all that i have p----- off (and the main ones know who i am talking too) i bid u farewell. Good luck in the future and please remember that we are all human and that as cloak and dagger as some things seem, Read your posts and check for your own contradictions.

After the flame the last couple of days about writing on other guilds forums i might be taking a chance at this , but it was nice as an outsider to get some clarity on what went on the "final days" of DA. Sad that you (you as in teh whole of DA, or at least teh officers and gl) couldnt make it work, and sad that i wont be raiding with you guys in the near future. We had some good times though and i will always look back upon them with a smile on my face. Your all good in my book.
