Let's see... How to put this?

I had one of those "milestone" birthdays in January, but it was a few years before that I had the single most stunning "#@&!, I'm old!" revelation moments... Someone asked me out on a date, and I suddenly realized it was perfectly legal for me to date someone half my age.

I'm old enough that the first time I played a game on a computer, it was a very crude star trek game (see? even before puberty I knew one of the primary purposes of a computer was to let me play at commanding ships silly boys wouldn't let me command IRL) and the way you played was you typed in your move, then walked over and read the results on the printer... 'Cause there was no monitor.
