Revamp Of Death Angels?

Right me being the opinonated self righteous arsehole i am i thought id post a few of my thoughts of the guild leader situation at the moment.

A new leader has to be elected and is in progress as we speak (Deathstare for president! )

But should the new guild leader change or completly revamp death angels...create a new start, new rules?

I personally beleive a new start will benefit us all, maybe a new name? new guild rules? i dunno im just putting ideas across but i think that revamping death angels into something more fun and succesful will provide us all with a 'new' life in the game.

Gonna suggest a few ideas myself..

.Guild night runs- nominate nights where we do strat, scholo, ubrs to up peoples gear and give thme experince before zg/mc Feral instinct are a strong example of this.

.Lowbie night/training- Select a day where training could? be offered to lowbies, tips tricks etc. Not telling them how to play but give them ideas on what to do etc tanking classes etc.

Revamp of officers- Maybe change the way officers are used? select a few along with the guild leader to aid him/her?

Revamp of rules- Change some of death angels rules to match whatever the new guild master wants? some stricter on inviting people etc

Anyway there jsut a few of my ideas iid thought id show you all as you know i cant keep my mouth shut and have to have a rant/shout at people to get things going.

Well to be honest i don't think the rules need to be changed a lot....

It will be more a matter of changing attitudes towards eachother to get the "family-feeling"back into the game.......

Its a game, its fun, too many rules clog up the system of having fun.......

I do agree on the Guild-organized nights for certain activities..

But with all different ZG/MC/AQ runs in the coalition.. it leaves little time for those events i guess.....

I would suggest for every guild member to post on a new to be created topic (after our new GM is choosen) to state all possibilities for each member what time, what days etc etc..

Make an good analysis of it and put up some suggestions.. (a nice job for the new GM and his/her officers)

After that we can put up a new "Guild-Calender"with all events planned........????

And work from there onwards... but please by all means....

Try to live in here with as less rulez possible.....

A guild night run would be very good...now all the LFG's are distributed all over the week, would be convienient to have one or maybe two night when everyone that wants to do an instance comes online at a certain time so you have high chance of getting a group together...

....also for the lower levels.

A trainees kinda day, don't thinkt that'll really be a succes imho...(ofc when someone wants advice or whatever they can always ask) we have so many days already too.

And ehm...I don't really understand what everyone is moaning about that we dont have that familly feel anymore? We do guild instance runs all the time, have fun in guild chat and ts...don't see the problem tbh.

Like yesterday Deadthing, Twaerl and Fallengrace took me and Elusive (then lvl 58 and 59) to LBRS, while 5 manning LBRS is hard enough for 5 lvl 60s.

And yeah I kinda agree about the revamping of the officers, cause it's still not really clear to me what they are for besides inviting people or something.

I suggested this sorta thing a long time ago, I remember being in Tanaris at the time, maybe level 46 or summat, so it must've been about 4 or 5 months ago.

I think it's a lovely Idea to have a new start - if we were to completely restart the guild, then I think we should be called Tribes of War and FI, NM and TBB could all break up and merge. That would make us easily one of the leading guilds on the server instantly and it would solve the problems about getting groups, combined guild chat etc.

guild officers and the whole ranking system was revamped VERY recently by tizzi and i dont think she'd be too happy about changing it again already. Though i do think there are some flaws in it that need to be adressed.

re-naming guild - nope to do that you would have to disband and reform which is chaotic and a high chance ppl are left out/left behind

can't see any need for big changes there - mebbe some more 'negotiations' would be good wif tribes tho...

'family feeling' - a few months ago the guild WAS a bit different - a lot more helping went on etc ppl were a lot more generous sharing time/drops/helping each other out - not saying it has stopped (or doubt anyone would still be in DA lol) but it HAS diminished a hell of a lot - there was a lot more free trade and ppl going farming things for guildies - even epixx were given away freely - I don't honestly know if we can get all of that back now - but an increase in 'community' can only be a good thing for all

'training' - can/should always be done informally - easy enough to pass on a few hints/tips in a guild nite out

once ds... i mean a new gm is picked we will be having an officers meeting to try and hash out a few things - and hopefully a fun guild meet/event soon after

one of the first 'events' DS oops, I mean whoever is new GM, will be asked to help organise will be.... 'the wedding!!!!' a ceremony to be followed by a fancy dress 'party' and mass fun/raid - so start thinking about ur wedding guest outfit and fancy dress outfit

hopefully we can organise a mass event of fun once a month at least

shouldn't organising the wedding really be yours and mast's job, tiz?

'help' being th key word u think th bride n groom do it all? nah, never - a whole host of willing friends and 'family' (hmmmmm) plus we cant rly officiate at our own wedding....
